By far the worst medical professional I have ever met. He was extremely rude & condescending, and didn't listen to me when I told him I was experiencing complications from a very distinct, pre-existing illness and instead told me I had the flu and tried to force me to have an IV and a battery of unnecessary tests. His state apologized up and down for his inexcusable demeanor, clear lack of competence, and for exacerbating my condition with his aforementioned behavior. My GP was shocked and disgusted when I told her about my experience, and she complained on my behalf. Avoid this man at all costs.

I had the misfortune of having Dr P the last trip to the er. I suffer from a chronic pain disease and my doctor switched my medicine 6 weeks before that made me worst. I had not slept in 2 days and could barely walk I was in so much pain and my last trip to the er was over 2 yrs ago yet he treated me like I was a drug seeking individual or something. I was in hysterics crying from the pain and all he did was give me a script for 6 pills and that's it. Didn't even give me anything the whole time I was there. The nurses were awesome at 1st but seemed to change their opinion of me when they discharged me like he changed their mind. Dr. P was very condescending and talked down to me and acted like I was some scum off the street. I will never go to the hospital again because of him.

Dr. Piotrowski was on duty in the emergency room during the night shift on 2/27/10 when I brought my son in for a sudden illness. When Dr. P said he was going have blood drawn, I told him about my son's extreme needle phobia, warning him that he might "react" to needles. This warning is one we've always given medical personnel so that precautions can be taken so that no one gets hurt. Usually - the staff says "Thank you!" for the warning, and then go on to arrange things in the safest way possible before proceeding. This fellow, however, began to expound - long, loud and clear - that he would call the police. I kept wondering what part of INVOLUNTARY he didn't understand, and what the heck he was doing in an emergency room! The fellow also could not look us in the eyes - at any time. I intend to avoid this ER physician at any cost in the future. He was singularly unhelpful, and his attitude apparently influenced some other members of the staff, too. Sad & scary. :oP
