I reluctantly had to find a new dr when my GP retired. Dr. Goldberg-Jacob was recommended to me. I immediately had some new unclear health issues that she took very seriously. She got me referred and was able to secure very quick appointments for me. She listed all the testing she wanted me to do and helped me get it done. Over multiple visits she convinced me I needed to be more proactive at my age and take tests I really dreaded (but am now so grateful I took). She takes very careful notes and thinks critically about your symptoms. I really appreciate the ability to do video appointments. I find her assistant Natasha to be very helpful.

I can only understand previous unfavorable reviews as a desperate desire to keep this family doctor all to oneself, as such good family doctors are a rarity, and on a full and busy schedule at that.

I was lucky enough to join the clinic of Dr Goldberg Jacob as soon as we landed in Canada. And my only wish is to stick with her for as long as she practices, forever on…

This is the type of Doctor, in this struggling system, who you know would go to the trenches for you. She is the most thorough I’ve ever met, never leaving any stone unturned in your diagnosis and treatment plan. She is a person. Treats her patients as whole, complete, people. She never holds back, she will push and punch for you. I’ve been so grateful for the care she was able to open up for me and can soundly say I trust her with me and my family’s health and well being.

I know her job isn’t easy, to say the least, I just want her to know this patient is grateful and doesn’t at all take her for granted. I must also mention the wonderful caring Natasha who handles her reception with the utmost professionalism and sensitivity. Both are truly a winning team to have by your side.

She is the worst doctor I have ever had! She was my doctor several years ago. She stared at her computer screen, seemed more interested in note taking. Horrible bedside manner, lack of empathy and appeared not to know what she was doing.

I have been Dr. Goldberg Jacob patient for several years now. I believe her to be a fantastic physician, thorough, cautious and, what's most important, very caring. Probably the best doctor I ever had, and I am over 70..

We've always had a good experience with Dr. Jacob. She's always listened carefully to our concerns, and has been careful with her examinations. What I especially like about her is that if she is not 100% sure of what the problem might be, she will refer you to a specialist (and not proceed with trial-and-error treatment!!!), and we've always been referred to very good doctors. Overall, I'm happy with my doctor!

So incredibly unhelpful. Rather than listening to me, she took the high level cause and just ordered tests. She relies on tests. Period. But most concerning are her physicals. Not even a breast exam???? That is criminally negligent behavior. I was walking back to my car after my yearly physical 25 minutes after walking in and that included a blood test. Absolutely finding another doctor.

She is very impatient,not personable or compassionate or nice.She types away while you talk and doesn't appear to be really listening to you or your concerns. On the first appointment with her she told me that if she wasn't there that I couldn't see anyone else and would have to go to the Emerg.If I don't do all the tests she wanted she was curt and talked down to me making me feel stupid and degraded. Made me feel like an infant. Her physical exam are a joke,maybe 3 mins max, like she was going over a piece of meat. Relies on too many tests rather than knowledge. Went to walk-in clinic and she asked rudely"You felt more comfortable talking with a stranger?"- I said YES-and that is the truth. She needs to learn compassion,patience and caring-what Dr's do? Didn't listen or ask me any questions recently and acted because I didn't call her back- I wasn't in the city and submitted something that has affected my life and now she will not do a thing to rectify her mistake.Find a better Dr.
