Dr. Vitale was an amazing doctor...my son and I saw him for many years....hes got a brilliant mind and helped with so many obstacles we faced.never rushed you through..was available 24/7....dialogues with you and explained everything...offered many suggestions to help you navigate you're struggles..not one has he ever been inappropriate in any way ,its been tough continuing without him.He was an old fashion doctor who was extra caring and took on those in need inspite of his already thriving practice.His willingness to extend his time to those in need truly speaks to the dedicated doctor he was...I truly miss this dr........he was valued by many ,and never will he ever be replaced..

I am adult patient of Dr. Vitale's being treated for ADD and until now did not feel the need to provide a rating for someone who was clearly admired for his work with children. IE perhaps he was good with children but not adults. I actually stopped going to him based on how uncomfortable he made me. I went in for treatment for ADD but found that many times he asked inappropriate questions about items completely unrelated to my treatment (ie about my se.x life, my habits as they related to childbearing and unwanted comments about my clothing). It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and always felt - based on his ease in prescribing heavier / more medication - that i was being over-prescribed. I just wanted to add this review as another side of the coin as an adult patient of his.

I find it very hard to imagine that these charges can possibly be true. This doctor has been our Paediatrician since we took some troubled children into our care. He was the most supportive man you could ever ask for. If it was not for him we would not have been able to keep these children in our home. He always listened to us. There was nothing about him that was weird or uncomfortable. He is old school but in a good way (handwritten records - answers his on phone sometimes). My heart goes out for his family right now. I hope more than anything that this turns out to be a big mistake because I can assure you that he has helped hundreds of families with special needs get the help and support they need. Foster care information sessions recommended him for FAS assessments.

Dr. Vitale seemed to be the only Dr. that listened to my complaints regarding my daughter all the others basically told me I was the nutty one. Turns out she had ADHD, OCD and ODD I am thankful that he took her on as a patient and because I was her mom he took me on as well.

Dr. Vitale, or "Dr. Bill" as my children have always called him has provided me with enormous help through over two decades. My oldest child has multiple disabilities and with Dr. Bill's compassionate assistance, we have gotten appropriate referrals promptly and effectively. He works "with' the parents - he does not talk "at" you as a parent. My life would have been much more DIFFICULT over the last several decades were it not for Dr. Bill Vitale.

Dr. Vitale is the most knowledgable, caring, compassionate and extremely well informed physician that I have ever met! He gives a new understanding to what medical care should look like and is most likely paid well under his pay grade. He does not rush his patients and will answer any concerns or questions you may have. He is a wonderful diagnostician and does not hesitate to get you into a specialist's care should he think that your symptoms warrant it. He must save MSI a lot of money by the fact that he diagnoses a patient with clarity & precision and is ardently empathetic with patients who are ill. He also offers practical advise to keep you healthy. They do not make doctors like Dr. Vitale any more. He is a very intelligent man and if you are lucky enough to have him as a patient, then you would be well advised to thank him at every opportunity! He even saved my husband's life one time after 3 other physicians could not diagnose him! He is simply our miracle worker and I will always have much gratitude for having had him care for our family over the last 20 years. No other physician like him...or at least...none that I have met!

You can't find a better doctor than Dr. Vitale. I always describe him as 'an old time doc' and that is exactly what he is! He doesn't rush you; he tries to get at the root of the problem; he has years of experience with physical/mental issues from both in his professional life and personal life. If you have him as your doctor, you are very lucky!!

Dr Vitale saved my life. I do not know how I would have gotten through many things in the past few years without his steady reassuring hand behind me. He took me on as a patient when I could not find a doctor and has treated me with nothing but respect and professionalism ever since. Without going into detail, If I had not had Dr Vitale in my life; I may not be the same person I am today. Sometimes he runs behind schedule but he has more than made up for that in taking me in on short notice.
