Mr Lou Ton, is in my opinion is not only a brilliant surgeon but a very upfront man who has his patients health and wellbeing first and foremost in his mind. During my time as his patient, I Cannot speak highly enough of his amazing man, and after having had three successful surgeries I can honestly say that I would trust him with my life.

I had L4/5 fusion with Lu Ton. He came highly recommended to me and I’m glad that he was my surgeon. Other levels of my lumbar are not the best shape and he has always seen me and answered any worries I have for my spine including ordering further scans despite not needing surgery. I knew my limitations before surgery and I’m pleased with my outcome after living with my prolapse for 22 years. Thank you, Kimberley.

I was awaiting my 8 week consult post discectomy which took place late Aug 23. As i was bordering on quada equina whereby i could have lost ability to control bladder, bowels and sexual function I was quite keen to get more details directly from surgeon on how it all went and some good guidence on path to follow, pace of recovery...etc...having few surgeries in recent past which are major I am quite familiar with the system and have learnt to ask the right questions which make a lot of difference post recovery and progress as well as re-injury prevention.
All I can say is that this surgeon should NOT be client facing. He expected no questions, when asked basics, gave google like very general and very broad answers......did not look at my file, proceeded to tell me contra instructions from what the post surgery notes were.....when I politely pointed out these things, he responded with "i cant remember your surgery, i do 100s".....clearly showing lack of care, and proving he didnt look at my file prior to seeing me to at least familirise himself with his client as you should.....when i tried asking questions in diff ways to try and get little bit more guidence, he got angry....both my wife and I who work in prof fields were shocked to say the least ! He hates questions, does not like explaining anything, gets upset if you have half a brain and ask follow up questions.......One of below comments from a DR from May 2018 perfectly outlines Lu Ton.....I cant speak for his skills as a surgeon, but I can say that his client handling is beyond poor......if you are looking for good feedback, informative surgeon with good guidence and post OP care, DO NOT use this guy and expect that. Rude and angry are two words that sum him up.

Mr Lou Ton is by far the best doctor/surgeon that i have covered . Lou has solved numerous issues from neck pain to sciatica. Highly recommend Lou

THR - left hip 2019 and right hip 2022. Mr Ton was respectful and clear in his initial diagnosis and expected outcomes. I would recommend Mr Ton given my excellent outcome in both instances.

Hi have recently had neck fusion due to an old injury had excessive pain making life awful. He treated me and my excessively long history, with respect and patience and explained everything clearly and in detail. Hi visited every day in hospital and was kind end empathetic.
