We had seen Dr. Banmann for my daughter's fractured hand, at first he was great, we had revisits because the swelling on my daughter's hand would not go down, even after the cast and braces were removed. Then a cyst formed on her hand, which because of the wait times to get in to for an MRI with one of our major hospitals, the cyst went away on its own. Well moving forward to when his doctor's notes actually matter, he completely lied about our appointments, and why my daughter needed to wear a further brace. It's frustrating. Sometimes I wish I can voice record doctor's office visits, because they don't make adequate notes, which doesn't make sense because with the exception of looking at my daughter's hand for a brief second in each appointment, he was hammering away on the keyboard. What in the world kind of notes were you making ?!

Saw this doctor in the walk in center at pan am
Took 2 mins max and offered no diagnosis
Waited the whole day to see this guy and told me to put in some sticky cream and brace
Turned out it was a hairline fracture of my scaphud
Thanks for nothing!
Have a cast and told might take between 2-3 months to heal
Does not do any type of exam during the visit just asks a few questions and barely looks at me
In the computer typing a bunch of words about the visit
I took a peek and he wrote things down that he didn’t even do like touching the area and not being sore etc. Again he never touched me!!

I have been seeing Dr Banmann for over 2 years, each time he has been on time, helpful and always ready to answer my questions. Today I called for an appointment and got the run around by the receptionist saying that I would be seen as a new consult instead of an existing patient. Why? New consults are seen in 2 months. Although I had just been in the clinic 26 days ago, I would be a new consult. Do they get more money for new consults? Receptionist said "I'm not going to loose my job for you" referring to my request for an earlier appointment. I am shocked and appalled by this type of treatment by a non-medical professional who does not know anything about my condition or history. All the ratings refer to his staff at reception and the policies related to new consults.

3rd time I went to see him about the same knee injury, no records on file of past treatment and no memory of me. He came to a different conclusion each time and dismissed my concerns. After serious insistence!, I was given an MRI appointment which revealed soft tissue/nerve damage. He was to refer me to a surgeon, but never did or forgot. Hard to recommend this doctor to others, unless you feel a decade (and counting) is an appropriate amount of time to have knee pain accurately assessed...
