Biography
Dr. Kendra Schick has been practicing dentistry since 2002, when she graduated from dental school and started working at dental offices in Calgary. She took over Evolution Dental in 2007 with the goal of creating a dental practice that puts patients first and builds strong relationships with everyone who comes in. Dr. Schick has had an interest in health and helping people all her life. Being a dentist allows her to fulfill both of these interests, and she is always happy when her patients can leave satisfied, with beautiful and healthy smiles. She is passionate about dentistry, and this passion drives her to keep Evolution Dental as technologically advanced and patient-focused as it is. Dr. Schick graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2002. She is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI Global), and is an LVI Fellow. This advanced training has helped her achieve a core understanding of aesthetic dental procedures as well as symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of TMJ. Helping patients and providing an office where you can be comfortable and talk openly about treatment options is Dr. Schick’s number one priority. She believes firmly in working together with her patients to find solutions to improve each person’s oral health as well as create beautiful smiles. She will never simply tell you that you need to have a certain procedure done - instead, she will walk you through your options and work together with you to create a custom treatment plan. Dr. Schick offers a wide variety of dental services, both aesthetic and restorative. She takes into account the whole mouth when suggesting treatment options, instead of focusing on a singular issue. Her treatment plans are comprehensive and tailored to your individual needs. Dr. Schick was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She moved to Calgary with her husband after graduating from university, and has been here ever since. She has two children and leads an active lifestyle, often running, swimming, and skiing. Dr. Schick enjoys forming bonds with her patients, and the sense of community fostered at her practice is one reason why she loves coming to work each day. Local community involvement is also very important to her, which is why she spends time volunteering and giving back.

Dr.Schick is an amazing dentist that looks at so much more than just the teeth. Specializing in comprehensive dentistry, TMJ , sleep and breathing disorders etc. I wouldn't trust my care with anyone else. She is constantly taking courses and learning the newest technology to offer the very best to her patients. Thank-you for being awesome!!
