I called my Bon Secours doctor's office after hours, around 11:30p because I was very sick and was needing assistance. Thankfully I was able to see my doctor the next day and my issue wasn't acute. Anyway, back to the issue, after I had called the answering service,the on call Dr, Dr. Scott Weikle called me back. I said hello and before I could even begin, he told me in an abusive, harsh, irrational tone that he was not going to listen to my "bevy of symptoms and health issues" and I would have to contact my doctor tomorrow if this was a true emergency call 9-1-1. REALLY?!?! Now I've worked at my country tax collector's office and am retired from the state DMV, so I know rude and abusive behavior from BOTH sides pf the counter. Dr. Scott Weikle was NOT professional at all- dismissive and rude, especially at a time when I was at a low, desperate point asking for someone to help me. It's not indicative of what Bon Secours/ Mercy Hospital system is all about. I see several positive reviews regarding Dr. Scott Weikle, but this wasn't my experience. I pray I don't get a form letter response apologizing or sayin somethin repetitive like this is a teachable moment and the hospital system blah blah blah. I want Dr. Scott Weikle disciplined.
