We was my Dr for 35 + years amazing. Last few years a disappointment. Rude receptionist. He is now full time at hospital and keeps office open for no reason. May as well go to emergency. You will never be referred for a blood test anymore.

Rude and aggressive receptionist. She’s terrible. Dr. Fried is always late, but tends to be thorough. Lately we have been wondering if it’s time to retire for him.

Dr. Fried is top notch and you can tell he cares about his patients. The newest receptionist he hired is rude and not helpful. Sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacist and before when prescription renewals took no time at all, it now takes several days and phone calls to make sure it gets done. She either needs more training or she needs to be replaced with someone that is friendlier and more efficient.

Great Doctor, sometimes rude and curt receptionist but efficient nevertheless.

Waiting for Dr. Fried's tardiness was not too bad when there was a receptionist who could help you with things. The current front office person knows nothing, is fairly rude but thinks she know everything. This new staff member does not seem to be of any help to patients or the probably the doctor.

Dr. Fried's most recent medical secretary is passive-aggressive, and Dr. Fried's bedside manner and listening skills seem to be dropping towards the low bar set by his staff.

Dr. Fried is an experienced and knowledgeable doctor. I have seen him for over 30 years and just left due to his passive/aggressive secretary. I'm sure it isn't easy finding good help, but we just couldn't take the inefficiency and incompetence anymore and moved to another practice just next door - where service is excellent and much more updated.

Dr. Fried has been my GP for over 25 years. It's true that you sometimes have to wait beyond your appointment time, but that's because Dr. Fried spends way more time with his patients than the average GP. He takes a holistic approach to medicine and will go far beyond discussing any particular complaint. In particular, as a physician who has a second practice in a elder-care facility, he is acutely attuned to one's mental state and is interested in how you are feeling in general as much as the specific reason you go to see him. Even though I moved out of Toronto 15 years ago it's worth driving an hour and a half each way way to see Dr. Fried. You won't find a better GP on the planet.

Going to see Dr. Fried is an intellectual experience. He really informs you of anything that ails you. I come out feeling informed and feeling like I am in good hands. The downside is staff - clueless or just plain inefficient???

Great Dr and consistently thorough. Finding a new GP. The receptionist will enrage anyone. Horrible woman.
