Getting to see the doctor will make you suicidal. The mire of rude and incompetent staff and phone system will keep you from getting the help you need. For three months I have been trying to get an appointment. I have filled out a book of paperwork even though they have years of records and they keep saying they will get me scheduled and call me back. Crickets.....Try to get the practice manager.

I have been a patient of Dr. Debelius' for over 10 years now and not only is Dr. Debelius the best psychiatrist in all of Tallahassee, and believe me, I have been to many over the past 20 years, he is also a talented medical doctor who is able to perform electric shock therapy. I always feel like I can talk to him about ANYTHING no matter how embarrassing it may be. He REALLY LISTENS, remembering whatever was discussed in a previous appointment. He is kind and understanding and one of his best traits is that he never rushes you out of his office. Kudos to Dr. Debelius!

Very much cares how his patients are doing. Asks great questions in order to see how his patients are functioning. LISTENS. Just plain nice. Prescribes appropriate medication, and if something needs to be changed/tweaked knows what med to switch to. Does not give up on his patients no matter how difficult they may be. The best psychiatrist is Tallahassee

The best psychiatrist in town, and for that matter, in North Florida. He is the first psychiatrist that I've had in 20 years that has taken the time to listen to me. Extremely knowledgeable and up to date with regard to medications. Very caring, friendly, humble, and patient oriented.
