I was referred to Dr Abou-Seido at the onset of the pandemic. I suffer from heavy menstrual bleeding and uterine fibroids.

I went for a consultation at his office at Osler Hospital.
I ended up having a biopsy performed and wasn't advised of this let alone prepared for it.
He was not personable at all - no empathy. Not a pleasant experience so obviously without any pain meds, it hurt like hell!
I asked him to stop and he said well, you know if I don't finish this you'll have to go and get a D&C done.... is that what you want?

Ahhh not really but what I would expect is a Dr. with better bedside manner.

I guess that's why he has a nurse to hold your hand and sit with you. Nurses have compassion.... thank goodness.

I was referred to this doctor, wish I wasn’t. No bedside manners, no eye contact, keeps back to me while talking. Asks why I’m there, doesn’t review my history, or review my results from ultrasound. Feels rushed, and like I’m being a bother or know what my issues.

I went to Dr Abou-Seido throughout my entire pregnancy and not sure how. He didn't make eyecontact or even look at me during my entire pregnancy. His eyes were glued to him computer and his back facing me during our conversations. Appointments were very short. Anytime I had a question or concern, he brushed it off. When I was concerned about the level of swelling in my feet and legs, he didn't even examine me or even attempt to ease my worries. Instead, he just told me his mother had swelling when she was pregnant. Not sure how that had any relevance to my pregnancy! I would have been better off with literally anyone else.

I need to have a C-section in a 2005 when my daughter was born. I had many complications following surgery. Inexplicable pain which didn’t subside. I was released home a few days until I could not take it anymore and went back for help.. something was wrong. I was ignored and told I just had a baby and Ofcourse I’m in pain..again sent home.. My family doctor was able to locate the blood clot that I was suffering between my uterus in my bladder on a simple ultrasound
machine… I was sent back to Sydney hospital for Dr. Abou Seido to reassess.. he argued the necessity of another surgery, claiming the hematoma could disperse on its own.. I ask for a second opinion.. the consulting doctor could see the severity on the CT scan walking through the room from a distance and recommended the surgery to remove the clot…in total I had 3 surgeries in 3 weeks.. a c-section, I microscopic surgery in which they tried to suck the clot out… literal hell on earth, and then I was opened up hip to hip again to remove the clot finally.. 1-2 days post op he called me a junkie in front of my family and any other staff that may have been there.. he said “we make you into junkie”.. I thought I was going to die.. cut my pain management completely and let me suffer… my mother came the next day and unhooked everything and saved me… we left AMA (against medical advice) and went to a hospital who helped me and understood what he was doing to me was torture.
The man is not right in his head.

He misdiagnosed me and was incredibly rude to me after a hospital stay when I asked him a few questions. Please do not see this Dr. I don't know about punctuality and staff so I gave 3 stars. Saw him through Brampton civic, he was the on call dr

Dr.Abou-Seido delivered both my sons via c-section he talked to me the whole entire time telling me everything that he was doing during my c-section. I was extremely afraid of a c-section and he took time while doing surgery to calm me down (literally they played music just to help my nerves) he listened to all my concerns and adressed them all .After my surgery he poped in to see how i was doing too which was extremely nice because doctors usually deliver and that's the last time you see them.I think he is an amazing doctor One of a kind !!!.. he's a little rushed at times but if you see his waiting room you completely understand he has a lot of patients but all in all he is an amazing doctor.

Thank you so much again.
