Very condescending. When you try to ask a question, he interrupts and dismisses you. Makes it seem like he has little interest in his patients.

The wait in his office was terrible, but he was on call at the hospitals today so doubt it could have been avoided. Mind you, I don't feel doctors should make appts if they know they're on call. I waited almost 1 1/2 hr to see him. There were only 3 chairs in the waiting room. One for his patient, one for the other doctor's and one for the audiologist's. All other patients (and there were many) had to wait in the parking lot and wait until they were told they could enter. Aside from that, I found Dr Huang to have a good bedside manner. Courteous, polite and friendly. His receptionist Roberta is an absolute sweetheart.

If you have a surgery, he's interested, presumably because of the $. Other cases, he is impatient, does not listen, rude and worst of all the wait in his office. Waited for more than one hour for a 4 minute consult. Result of consult, I just have to suffer the pain as it does not lend itself to surgery!! No other treatment?? Now the waiting part. Patients had to stand outside as they have only 4 folding chairs that we can use due to covid restrictions and the other chairs have a "Do not sit" sign on them and taped off. Just goes to show his level of care for patients.

I have been going to Dr. Huang for 20 years. I agree with some people that at first he seems a bit abrupt but he gets more personable over time. Whether or not you think he is 'nice', he know what he is doing. I really like him and more importantly, I trust him. As for his receptionists, Roberta in yhe Ajax office is lovely. The woman on the Whitby office , runs hot and cold, nice lbe minute and not so nice the next but do you really care? I strongly recommend Dr Huang and worry about him retiring since I have an ongoing issue and can't imagine starting over with someone new. For the people concerned that he runs late on appointment, that is a good thing, it means that he gives each patient the time they need instead of watching the clock.

Avoid this doctor. He is more interested in listening to his own voice than he is listening to his patient’s medical issues. He isn’t thorough, isn’t inquisitive, is defensive, and doesn’t problem solve to get to the root of the problem. I saw him multiple times last year and I’m still suffering with the same issues that brought me into his office initially.

Do yourself a favour and see another ENT.

I did not have a good experience with this doctor. I should have known when he walked in all coiffed. I expected to see his entourage and paparazzi behind him. He was not informative. He was more interested in hearing himself talk than listening to what brought me in. The language used was too technical for the average layman and he wasn’t interested in helping me understanding. Terrible bedside manner.

I have been seeing him for many years! Never have had an issue & will always recommend him over any ENT. Not sure what I will do when he eventually decides to retire (hopefully will never happen)

I have suffered Sinus headaches and have had breathing problems through my nose for years. Have had 3 previous Sinus surgeries to correct this over 30 years. In 2020, my wife noticed that I am doing all my breathing through my mouth (Talking, Eating, while Breathing). Not through my nose at all.
Dr Huang was recommended by my family doctor and during Dr Huang's physical exam, he said that my nasal breathing passages were really closed .. only open 7 of 10 on one side --- and 2 of 10 on the other. So we booked the surgery and I had it done in Oct 2021.
In the recovery room, Dr Huang said that what they found during the operation was scar tissue from previous sinus surgeries had increased to the point that the air passage ways were almost closed off. No wonder I was having breathing problems.
It is now the end of November .. surgery swelling has diminished .. and I cannot believe I am breathing out of BOTH side of my nose now. What a blessing. I am finally breathing like the rest of the planet has been doing every day! Wow.
Dr Huang, I am so grateful for this surgery. You did a wonderful job. Your visits were caring and you really know your area of expertise. Perhaps some patients may complain from time to time as all doctors find out.. but these should be taken with a grain of salt. We all have bad days from time to time. But my visits and my surgery with you has been a success story. Thank you so much. I am so grateful for the new enjoyment of just breathing effortlessly. Blessings, Jeff C.
