This DO is an excellent pain specialist, take heed that he has to handle other patients before you. So be prepared to bring a book, but expect your time to be as valuable and more. He does not rush in and rush out like other pain management doctors. He does not over book his schedule. Dr. Shedden treats me like a human being and not a number. I wish I had found him years ago. He goes by the book, so being compliant is upmost importance. I have read the other reviews and if you are not compliant with your medicine and/or his medical orders, then you will be disciplined. He has bosses over him, DEA, and the Medical Board. I'd rather have a doctor go by the book than a pill mill doctor who doesn't care one minute about me and rushes me out the door for the money. It is obvious that he is very experienced and a seasoned physician. He is well respected by his compliant patients. Thank you Dr. Shedden for being the physician you are; many other doctors should learn from your practice.

This physician is a very great doctor. He practices medicine in a very skillful way. He listens to the patient instead of what's on paper. He actually found a brain tumor, the day after I saw a neurosurgeon. He call my neuro and requested he recheck my MRI. Bingo, I was in surgery two days later. Dr Shedden gives great trigger points, injections and adjustments. This Doctor saved my life in which I am very thankful.

He's a very knowledgeable and professional doctor who treats pain appropriately. If you're just looking for someone to be your narcotic dealer, look somewhere else. As to how he treats patients, he is very professional and appropriate; if someone was treated like a low class citizen, all I can say is: if the shoe fits...

He used to be the very best... But he has listened to some lies and put me out as a extremely well rule following patient... But said I'm a danger to my community... If so it's only because of what he prescribes... i have begged for a lesser med for 6 months...

Dr. Shedden was very professional and knowledgable. Neck pain is something that I have been dealing with for quite some time, and Dr. Shedden has been very helpful. I appreciate that he is using adjustments, exercises and vitamins to help me - rather than just loading me up with drugs and sending me out the door (as my previous dr. was doing).

He treats his patients like low class citizens for being in pain. He takes no responiblity on himself at all. If you are having problems with meds and you call his office for help he will NOT return your call. If you take extra meds to make it til next appointment even after calling pleading for help it's going to be all your fault and he will turn into a school yard bully and yell at you, belittle you, and tear you down all the while saying he is going to drop you from his service in a attempt to make you BEG for his help which is very little if at all. Once he finds the right dosage he will back it down to a minimum so that you stay in pain. Literally he tries to turn you into an addict so he can keep you coming back for the same cruel treatment. I tried to work with him but in the end I would rather live everyday in pain than to grovel at someones feet for help. Yes I broke a rule once but only after no cared enough to call back and help me.
