Hospital, doctors and some of the nursing staff were the worst I have ever experienced! I was transferred to Flowers for blood clots and blood in stool. I was given too much anticoagulant medication and suffered severe migraines was scanned for a brain bleed and taken off them for levels to go down. Doctor told me I was not passing blood in my stool or it would be coming out on the bed. WRONG!!! I could not urinate and begged for help fortunately a wonderful nursing assistant came in to assist me in getting bathed and got ultrasound and bladder was so full and on verge of bursting. She got me the help I needed and I immediately filled catheter bag full 2 times! I was put in a little corner room with no space for family to sit. I was treated so badly and talked about by one nurse in the hall outside of my door. I bit my tongue and reacted with nothing but kindness...Kill them with kindness is my moto. I called her Sweetie and thanked her every time she came into my room. Needless to say doctor/ hospitalist discharged me without further testing and I continued to suffer and was back in ER at another hospital with a blocked colon and intestine which turned out to be cancerous tumor that ate through my colon and intestine completely blocking them, an additional cancerous tumor on artery to right leg and kidney along with a severe case of gallstones. I was transferred to Sacred Heart Hospital where I underwent a 9 hour surgery and spent 18 days recovering there. I wrote the administrator of Flowers about my treatment there and still have not been contacted 7 months later! Oh and did I mention they billed my insurance for surgery they did not perform and so much more?!!! If you value your life stay away from Flowers Hospital!
Our grandson was born there in 2018. The staff is trained in natural births and eventually left us to ourselves with no help or advice on how to help the birthing process. They seemed only trained and only wanting to work with women who do medicated births -- they prioritize monitors over the mother's body. But the most disturbing thing was how they took our baby to their nursery and kept him from the mother and father and told us they knew what was best and we had no say in it. There was a strong territorial expression in that nursery. It was 6 hours before they were willing to bring the baby to the room. This was mainly because the doctor rushed the actual pushing process by cutting the mother, which left mucus in the baby's mouth which would have been pushed out with the correct process through the birthing canal. The doctors and nurses who work with births should know this. It was distressing. The actual care when on the floor and once the baby was released to the parents was good. I strongly discourage women who want a natural birth from using this hospital until changes are made.
No, do not go there. Took eight hours and all they did was take some blood and send me hoe and I was poisoned. I almost died. Told me that my regular doctor had to order a poison test kit and that the ER did not do any poison testing. Off gas from a painted bedroom almost killed me and my heart has no been the same.

He was really weird and unhelpful. Also, his staff talk badly about patients in the hallway and you can hear them while inside the rooms. Don’t go to them!
