Yes he will be late. Yes you will wait. but once you are in, you get all the time you need to discuss your issues. shane on the person who him 2 stars. nobody that know John does not mind the wait

Clearly this doctor has not had a rating in a few years, I see the last one is dated Feb 2018, someone should take a closer look at his practice, when you book a patient for a certain time waiting 2 hours is not acceptable. if you are so important that you think you can keep a patient waiting that long you better be good! But I don't think you have proved that logic. My brother has been waiting 2 mos for some forms to be filled out and still waiting, He had a heart attack and "Dr" Hardtop thinks he can handle the heart patient, won't refer him!

Took the time to see me at the end of the day without an appointment. Took his time coming to a conclusion after examining me and pointed me in the right direction with referral to a specialist . Called me at home to see how I was doing. Thanks a lot dr. Hortop!

Dr Hortop was my Doc for several years and I was really sad to loose him when I moved to Kingston, he is the most understanding, caring, interesting man I have ever known! If he`s late seeing you its because he doesn`t rush anyone, he takes time to listen and answers all your questions, he is definitely worth the wait to see! Glad he was not only my doctor, but a great friend too!

As a physician in training, I can think of no better role model. I will gladly make the trip from Montreal to Ormstown when my daughter is born if he`ll take on her care.
