I was having terrible issues and needed a complete hysterectomy. This doctor was kind, patient, very knowledgeable and understanding. Surgery could not have gone any better and I highly recommend her to anybody that is in need of an incredibly talented doctor and surgeon.

Love Dr Satya. She explains everything and helps you understand. She is very gentle and explains to detail what she is doing. There should be more doctors like her here in nb.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. My first appointment was within a week of my call and I have had a number of appointments since that time ... I have had absolutely no concern with punctuality and have never felt rushed. Dr Satya has been very helpful in explaining the solution to my situation. I found Dr Satya to be very knowledgeable and her explanations have been very clear. I have complete trust in Dr Satya.

Staffing wise her receptionist and nurse are amazing! But wait time is terrible, most people try to be early for an appointments but don’t bother with her office you wait over an hr after you scheduled appt time. It’s her way or the highway. She is very rude if it’s not what she wants to do. I had really bad Sciatic nerve pain from the beginning of my pregnancy and I tried to get her to put me out of work, she kept on saying we will reassess at your next appointment then said we will assess at 30 weeks. I literally hard such a hard time getting out of bed let alone go to work. I was in tears at an appointment bagging to be put off because of the pain and she had the nerve to look at me and say it’s life get use to it. Needless to say I’m not going back to her again.

As a Type A personality with a tendency to over analyze - and as a first-time pregnant person - I hoped for an OB who would make me feel seen, heard and informed. Dr. Satya checked all of these boxes and more. She is kind, understanding, intelligent, patient and calm. She never made me feel like my questions were too much, or like my mental health was any less important than my physical health. Importantly, early on in my pregnancy, I had lab results that required immediate follow-up action and Dr. Satya was unavailable for over a week as I desperately tried to seek her help and guidance. My family doctor kept directing me to Dr. Satya; eventually I called the high-risk specialist at the hospital and he addressed my issue immediately even though it wasn’t within his scope in terms of his care for me as a patient. That experience rattled me so much that I started to look for a new OB, but decided to focus on the many positives of Dr. Satya and proceeded forward with the knowledge that I could not rely on her office to be on top of my file in the way I originally expected. From then on, I proactively worked with my amazing family doctor to learn and action lab results - taking the lead on this myself. In the end, I really enjoyed being her patient and would highly recommend her keeping the above in mind about being your own advocate.

Dr. Satya is a great doctor. But there’s always room for improvement in everyone. She told me in Nov 2021 that I needed an LBSO surgery and that she had me down for sometime in Feb 2022. This is July 2022 and no sign of surgery.

Dr Satya is wonderful! She makes your feel like she really cares and she is so soft spoken. My only complaint about her office is how you need to weigh yourself in the waiting room and say your weight out loud in front of everyone waiting. It just makes it uncomfortable. Other then that, she’s a fantastic dr!

Dr.Satya is an amazing doctor. I had a rare condition of an ectopic pregnancy and I was scared for my life receiving the news. She explained everything to me and our plan for our next steps in my words not in complicated doctor terms. She told me what the steps would be and if they wouldn’t work what our next steps would be. She made my nightmare seem easier to live through with her amazing bedside manners and her comfort. She followed up with every bloodwork I had done whether she was calling at night or on the weekends she always made sure to call me and discuss my levels and go over any concerns I had. I had her as my OB with my first daughter and had her for this difficult heartbreaking cornual ectopic pregnancy and she was amazing both times. I would highly recommend her she goes over and beyond to make sure you feel good especially going through a tragic loss.

It took me 18 months to get in to see her. She suggested doing tests that had already been done, and treatment that had already been done and failed. I did exactly as she asked and, once again, it did not work. I was left in pain and bleeding for nearly a year straight. Her answer to my problem was that I go back to see her when I was 40 and then she would help me.

I felt very dismissed and like, in her mind, I had to earn the right to be comfortable and not bleeding all the time by reaching a certain age.
her receptionist also asked me very loudly how much I weighed in the middle of a fairly crowded waiting room, which I found very off putting.

I will say, she is very nice when talking to her. Just impossible to get her to do anything to help if you're under 40 and having really bad bleeding issues.
