I would not recommend this doctor. He constantly asks useless questions and he seems to be fixated on my birth control pills, even if the appointment is nothing to do with them. When I went in to get a form signed he refused to sign it stating that he had to do several tests for it when in fact that is not what the form stated. I have caught him lying to me more than once and he seems to find things I say funny as he as laughed in my face on several occasions. He also walked away from me twice without saying a word at the end of two appointments. This doctor is totally unprofessional and in my opinion should not be in the medical field. I can honestly say this is my worst experience with a doctor.

Dr. Sameny sees my adult autistic sons. He is very thorough in his physical exam. He addressed my sons' social needs and listened as I explained our frustrations with PDD. I felt he cared about all aspects of my sons not just their physical needs.

Very happy with Dr. Sameny's care and attentiveness. I would recommend him.

Dr. Sameni did a wart treatment on my foot. It was excessive the amount of skin he removed with a scalpel and he continued to freeze the affected area and continued to make it bleed. He did not seem to be concerned with the amount of pain I was in. He was joking "haha you've never been pregnant before have you?" as if to say I don't know what real pain feels like. He is very impersonal and barely made eye contact with me when he was talking to me. On a separate occasion he was pushing Valium on me because I was stressed. I told him I just came off anti-depressants and did not want more drugs. He insisted that I take the prescription and get it filled just in case... This is the last time I will ever see or speak to this doctor again as he was no help to me, he just caused me more pain.

Dr sameny saved my life. after going to dr after dr for 1-2 years i finally seen dr sameny he listened to what i was saying and actully cared because of him i am now in remmision from cancer he got me into a pain clinic which i am not as happy with as i was with him but none the less he is the best doctor i have seen and saved my life. he really does care and he knows what hes talking sbout. adam b. edmonton

He generally runs late. He also only has limited times available for annual check ups.

This doctor was excellent. He called our home to report the necessity for follow up and provided support for us for diagnostic testing and perscription. I was quite impressed by how kind and caring he was but in a very professional capacity

Not a good experience. I am healthy, in my twenties, and do not need a lot of time or attention from a doctor (I only go in for yearly physicals), but Dr. Sameny provided even less than basic care or attention. He was my doctor for two years. He left me waiting in a paper gown for 45 minutes after waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room. He was patronizing when I asked about switching medications (birth control pills) due to side effects. His exact words were, "If you have been on this medication consistently for 10 years, how do YOU know if it is the medication causing the side effects or if that is just the way your body works?" He was unwilling to even discuss switching my pills. He has never done a blood test with me, even after I requested blood tests twice. He said unless I had a specific concern about my health, such unnecessary tests put unwarranted strain on the medical system. I have not had a blood test in 10 years. Pick a different doctor.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Sameny. My previous Dr was the type who saw you for 3 mins then you were out the door. Dr Sameny listens. And he gives you heck when you’re not doing what you’re supposed to; which IMO, shows that he takes his patient's health seriously. Highly recommend him. A very nice fellow.

He's thorough and knowledgeable. I've been referred to specialists and they tell me that he has done a good job doing tests needed. A busy office. Staff aren't the greatest. But I don't mind the wait as he's taken hood care of me. I've referred friends and family members to him.All have had a great experience.
