This guy is absolutely excellent. last year i injured my foot in a very strange way. I went to Emergency, then 2 trips to my local doctor (who's very good, but not a sports specialist) which were all unfortunately mis-diagnosed. I took it upon myself to see Dr. Brooks, and he took one look at HIS specialist x rays, found the broken sesamoid and rectified it with surgery. Im at 99.6% performance, but unfortunately, Im going back next week for him to diagnose my brand new foot injury (the other one this time). Going to bypass the whole family Dr. process and go straight to him... 100% confidence with this Doctor.

Dr. Brooks is an excellent podiatrist - the best I have been to! However, his receptionist is extremely rude; she has ZERO people skills - Maybe it's time to inform her of that, she might not realize just how RUDE she is.

Dr. Brooks seems to have a wide spectrum of knowledge about feet and what could be used to help a particular foot problem, but is good at making very basic orthotics only - he hired an extremely nasty receptionist and unfortunately over time, he has lost much of his own pleasant personality. If you only need foot devices to keep your feet more comfortable for sports, etc. and don't mind rude receptionists, you would be fine there.

The receptionist is very rude and unfriendly - in person and on the phone! Great doctor. Took time to examine my daughter and to explain the causes and the treatment.

I found him to be very kind, I went with some bad foot pain, he explained to me why it was happening and bandaged my foot to start alleviating the pain. On my follow up visit, he prescribed orthotics. I really liked that he was honest with me and told me that I could wear of the shelf orthotics ($40) and that I didn't need to pay for custom ones. I got the exact number of visits I needed and nothing more.

Dr. Brooks was very professional and kind as I explored options to treat my bunion. I did find that he was quick to dismiss other options (ie. splinters, etc.) and only seemed to suggest orthodics. I don't think orthodics alone will do the trick and would like to avoid getting to the point of it getting worse and needing surgery. His receptionist is very rude and unfriendly - in person and on the phone!

I had three treatments for a wart. They were painful (each left me hobbling around for a week), costly ($50-80 for a 5 minute visit) and completely ineffective (the wart is bigger now than before). The doctor seemed unsympathetic and I don't feel he sufficiently explored treatment options.

I am on the fence about this doctor because I have had my orthotics for 6 months and he has yet to adjust them properly. In the mean time I am suffering from terrible foot pain which is starting to move to my lower back. He says that my feet are "complicated" or "difficult", but does not say that he has a solution. I have suffered with this pain for quite some time and I just want to start feeling better. I have worn the orthotics religiously and I find that they do not work, and I actually had less pain with an over the counter orthotic than this expensive custom orthotic. He is very patient, and nice but neither of those characteristics help me with my foot problems. While he insists the orthotics will be fixed, I cannot imagine how much longer it is going to take, or how much damage is being done in the time beening. Further, his receptionist is rude and oblivious on how to do her job and if I hadn't already bought the orthotics I would be going somewhere else.

This was our first visit with Dr. Brooks. He took excellent care of my Mother's feet, which had been in need of care for a while. He was gentle, kind, professional, thorough, and treated her with respect. I would highly recommend him.
