Dr Mullinax is an outstanding doctor of dermatology. I have seen her twice and she is very thorough. She is always friendly, smiling and caring. I wouldn't want to see anyone else.

My current physician wanted me to see a dermatologist before I start a treatment. We had some specific questions. Unfortunately she was unable to answer any of them and she did not show any interest in finding the answers. Instead, she suggested a treatment that had failed for me in the past. When I told her that we had tried this, she kept insisting that she "likes" the medication. She needs to listen to her patients needs and understand that it is not about what she likes, it is about the patient's needs. Neither my physician or I was impressed. Fortunately she is not the only dermatologist around and we were ablr to find the answers to our questions and start the treatment that is ongoing and showing results. I do not think she will get referrals from my physician.

Dr. Mullinax gave the most thorough exam I have ever had. She is no longer with Bellaire dermatologists and I really miss her professionalism. I would highly recommend her.

Get used to her anal retentiveness and medically unnecessary / repetitive labs, doctor visits, etc. Also, get used to her not helping you, and saying that she's "not comfortable" doing anything for you. It's amazing she's even comfortable practicing medicine. She's more worried about sticking her MD out on the line than actually treating a patient - which means she won't do anything for you that other doctors have been doing for you for years and has worked! I stopped seeing her for a reason, and then my favorite doctor in the world moved to Arizona and I got stuck seeing Mullinax again. Now, I have to find a brand new clinic and have 6 years worth of records faxed to a new clinic. Worst doctor I ever had.

Dr. Mullinax is a wonderful doctor. She is very kind and sensitive. She always listens and has a smile on. I wish all doctors were as patient and helpful as she is.
