Biography

Dr. Neda Nosrati is a native Houstonian and has lived her entire life in Texas. She graduated high school from Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. For undergraduate studies, she attended the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Neurobiology with Highest Honors and an election to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then returned to Houston and earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine while on a full Presidential Scholarship. Dr. Nosrati completed an internship in internal medicine at UT-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and thereafter finished her training in dermatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After earning her board certification, she practiced for one year in Dallas while her husband finished his urology residency at UT-Southwestern. Dr. Nosrati and her family then returned home to Houston where she has since been practicing dermatology. Dr. Nosrati and Dr. Jogi joined to form Village Dermatology in 2015. When not working, Dr. Nosrati enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Paul Smith, and her two young children. She also loves to read, jog, travel, ski and cook. Dr. Nosrati is experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a primary clinical focus in all areas of medical dermatology. She sees both adult and pediatric patients for a variety of skin conditions including eczema, rash, acne, hair loss, psoriasis & annual skin screenings. Dr. Nosrati is board certified in dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and the Texas Medical Association. She currently serves as Secretary of the Houston Dermatologic Society.
