Before seeing a natural wellness doctor, please understand that insurance companies do not subsidize their practice. The prices you pay for these services will be higher than what you are used to paying because the practitioner has to charge you for the full costs of the testing as well as their time. Naturopaths typically spend a LOT more time with their patients, seeking to discover and treat the root cause of what is ailing you, unlike your other doctors who treat symptoms based on pharmaceutical protocols... each medication causing side effects that create more problems. The choice is yours... choose a doctor that cares about you and your long-term health, or choose the revolving door right hand of big pharma, helping to feed the multi-trillion dollar drug industry.

If the people with the negative comments understand Alane Palmer they never would have written their remarks. Alane is not a MD, correct & she does not claim to be. She is a Traditional Naturopath & a Certified Nutrition Counsultant. Her education is from a Christian Accredited School so yes it is different from traditional schools. I have known her for years and have seen so many people improve (hundreds). She totally cares about each person that comes into her office and works hard to help guide them on how to get better. I would suggest her to anyone that is not feeling well!

I don't know about the previous review - whether her credentials are fake, but I'm inclined to agree. I dropped a wad of cash just for blood work and her "counseling". She did not seem to know much about nutrition (I have a BS in foods & nutrition), and only gives out info that supports the supplements she pushes. The liquid vitamin she touts for detox and Lyme Disease/CFS is just an overpriced liquid. I was very sick when I went to her, but wised up after a couple visits. I got better due to my own persistent digging for knowledge and others' experiences. If I'd stayed w/her I would be in massive debt, still sick, and taking overpriced supplements. While her intentions may be good, I'm not the least bit impressed or convinced she truly knows what she's doing. I would not recommend going to her or the Doctor's practice where her office is located.
