My oldest son has autism. We have tried several eye doctors but none compare to Dr. Lewis. Now my youngest son goes to her as well. We drive about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to see her but she is totally worth it.

My daughter had a lazy eye. We had to wear a patch for a year and had excellent results. Dr Lewis is professional and personable. Children relate well to her. She never rushes patients through an appointment. She even helped us choose cute frames last time we bought glasses for my teen daughter. We have used her as our Dr for oveer 10 years and drive 2 hours for appointments! She is worth it. You will love her and so will your children!!

Dr. Lewis has been my sons' optometrist for four years. She evaluated one of my sons for a lazy eye, which she suggested patching for; we did, and it made the eye become very controlled. She evaluated my other son, and determined his perfect vision. Dr. Lewis evaluates my son that has the very controlled lazy eye once a year, and while there is always about a 30 min. wait, we believe it is worth her careful evaluation, down to earth explanations, attentiveness, and cheerfulness. Recently, my son with perfect vision was seen for an accident with his eye that was caused by a thrown toy. Dr. Lewis required two visits, but waived the deductible for the second visit, and the medication she prescribed worked marvelously in just one day, even through we gave it three days. She is very concerned about my son with the controlled lazy eye, because he has TBI. It is very reassuring to know he has a doctor who cares about more than his eyes.
