An excellent doctor in an excellent practice. She takes time to listen, processes information well and asks relevant questions. She takes the time to get to know the patient and for the patient to know her. She will do things like call the pharmacy to find out prices of various drugs before writing a prescription for an ininsured patient. Very highly recommended.

In the last 2 years she has been in an extreme hurry during visits. She comes to a quick conclusion about a diagnosis and doesn't consider any other ideas. This is a change from previous behavior.
Practice not taking new patients, but there are never other patients in the waiting room . Nursing staff congenial and informative, but office staff too "busy" to answer phones. Office closes early. GTL practice. Not recommended.

Dr seems great, staff is horrible. Wanted to stay with the practice, but staff "Jennifer" forced me out. Dr didn't seem to understand the impact of bad staff.

I had lived in the area for over 15 years and still had not found a GP whom I felt comfortable. In my previous home I had the same physician for many years, so I really missed the care to which I had been accustom. Dr. Sander was recommended to me by a co-worker. The one thing that impressed me was my co-worker stated that Dr. Sander took time to hear about ALL her concerns and did not rush her out the door. When I had my first physical I felt completely comfortable telling her all the little things that had been bothering me which I had not discussed with any doctor previously because I have always been so rushed and made to feel like I could only ask about one issue per visit. I have never felt so well cared for before. I would HIGHLY recommend her. She is also funny and compassionate. She truly cares about you as a person. One additional note: this style of care is promoted by the practice, so if you cannot see her you will get similar car from her fellow practitioners.

Without any doubt the best doctor I've known. I am 42 to and have been forced like many others to locate a really good doctor. I still drI've 200 miles round trip to see her every 3 months. She has put the word"individual' back into medicine. She treats People with a subjective outlook and never power-trips or carries herself in a haughty manner. She really LISTENS and she doesn't let anything get by her. She was well worth my searching. There's not an answer she doesn't have even when it comes to billing or other insurance snags. When she's out of the office she still somehow can find a way to adress issues that other doctors would push off on someone else. Clone her and replace the prideful and overbearing doctors.

Highly recommended. Left a bigger practice that was herding people for profit. Her partner is another top ranked doctor (Bankaitis). Prepare for long, informative visits!

I have looked for a few years to find a doctor like Catherine Sander. On my first appointment she asked some very empathetic questions to get to know me. She was able to take a difficult situation of mine regarding sleep-nightshift difficulty and clearly allowed me to understand my challenge as she talked with me. Catherine was very thorough, looked me in the eyes and with no fluff adressed my related issues as well. After the initial appointment I was wondering why aren't there more doctors like this? How can someone solid and inellegent stay in business with all the other "meat-market-doctors" out there? She gave me a "B" plan as well just to make sure my situation would be handled before our next meeting. On my second visit my wife (RN,RT) also saw her and we understand now why some people won't leave an area because their doctors are so helpful, truly caring about the individual patient and educating all in single visits. I'm critical of doctors these days, she is the best yet.
