My husband had an appointment with Dr. Julien today. The staff were efficient and pleasant. Dr. Julien was familiar with his medical history. She was very professional, patient, answered questions and offered help and at the same time to the point.

Very kind and wanting to know why my dad was sick. Was tactful at the same time direct and to the point.

I felt like a science project - without asking me more about my life style and what has been done thus far - she came in the room and said I'm the ideal candidate for this new drug their testing.... tries pushing it on me telling me that if I don't start taking it now I will die very soon... and then get upset with me when I flat out tell her NO I don't want to be a guinea pig! -
I found out from another doctor, this particular drug she wanted to test out on me causes liver failure and has shown thus far to make people very sick leaving them with very poor quality of life... She is a HORRIBLE doctor, no bed side manners, no concern for the patients needs or how they are coping - she should be in a Lab...

Began her consultation by accusing me of not taking care of my blood pressure. When I asked her to check my file she realized my blood pressure had nothing to do with why I was there. Her bedside manner is appalling and I have requested that she never consult on my file again. She needs to go back to school to be re-sensatized on how to interact with her patients. I'm sure she is quite knowledgable, but her demeanor with me was a deal breaker.

I get the feeling that I am not in the room. She is busy with her numbers and my file and forgets there is a person in the room. My needs are low on her radar. She is busy with her science but I do not matter. The thing is, I have no clue if she is competent or not. My seeing her has little impact on my health for now. The whole clinic at the hospital where she works seem to accept that the services offered are group based, not individual based. I am not impressed.
