I have been his patient for 35 years and he is the most amazing Dr. I have had the pleasure of knowing.
I am grateful for his care and always being so kind and accommodating.
I travel 2 hours to get to his office and I would do it gladly each time as he is so knowledgeable and wonderful.

Dr Rabinovitch is knowledgeable professional who kind and caring. I've seen him for scheduled visits over the past 25 years as well as urgent care. Recently while being treated by a Neurologist for an issue he said he wanted me to see one of the top ophthalmologist that he knew of, I was so pleased when he said it was Dr Rabinovitch

Saw Dr. R after getting diagnosed with T2 diabetes and was struggling with vision blurring and an inconsistent prescription. He said it had nothing to do with my diabetes and talked to me as if I were stupid. To ease my worry he said he would send me for a field of vision test since my family has a history of mac degen and glaucoma and now I also have t2 diabetes. When the results came in he left a vml for me saying that it was completely fine and normal.

Today I asked Sinai Health to pass along that report to my optometrist because Dr. R's team couldn't find it in the system at all, and I see clearly that one of my eyes is listed as nerve fibre bundle defect on the test.

Dr. R should consider that this is something worth mentioning at minimum even if he doesn't feel it relevant. I've never had such a rude and dismissive doctor.

I have seen him 3 times and it was a horrific experience each time. The receptionist is exceptionally rude and I also witnessed her berating an older patient while I was in the waiting room. Dr. Rabinovitch is nothing short of incompetent. I originally saw him to discuss an alarming vision incident and he simply said "Totally normal, happens to me all the time." Then he ushered me out the door after literally one minute! How can you properly assess me without asking any questions and in one minute? How is this acceptable care? Avoid at ALL COSTS

My family Dr. referred me to see an ophthalmologist for some issues that I had, unfortunately it was Dr. Rabinovitch. He might be knowledgeable on what he does but his attitude was terrible and unprofessional. The whole exam took less than 1 minute and OHIP is paying for this visit !!! He makes you feel unwelcome and his attitude shows "why are you even here to waste my time". I just find the whole visit to be a waste of time and degrading. You ask a question, his reply is a sarcastic comment. We are wasting our healthcare funding on this kind of doctor !!!

Terrible experience visiting this doctor. Although I don’t doubt his skills/abilities, he spend all of two minutes looking at my eyes before declaring my vision was “perfect 20/20” (I wear glasses). Nothing done to address my primary concern (blurry vision and pain). I tried to push further and ask for advice on who I could see about these concerns and he flat out dismissed anything was wrong. I was basically left to feel insane and that I bothered him for no reason.

Would love to give less than one star, but not available. Dr Jed is very rough, impatient and quick to give an appointment for surgery. He gives you a date for surgery whether you need it or not. No bed side manners.

This doctor removed my cataracts within a few weeks of each other. He and his staff are efficient and professional and I would highly recommend them

My appointment was at 11:15 I was walking to my car at 11:25. Does this sound right to you? I also want to start by saying this was my first visit EVER with this Doctor and clinic. Staff is VERY RUDE. Especially the Chinese lady. If you can call her that. I'm not even sure what she is a helper, receptionist I don't even know what her title is to be honest. She is extremely ignorant. All the questions that I was asked should have been asked by the Doctor himself in my opinion. But the receptionist was asking? Little strange and not at all what I'm use to. Now on to the Doctor. I'm not sure if he is trying to make a Guinness world record? But I was absolutely shocked how quickly I was in and out of his room. I mean. I honestly feel as though I didn't even get a proper assessment. Now I have to go a full year before I can see another eye doctor, which is extremely upsetting. I would NEVER go back to this Doctor or PLACE again. Very unprofessional. I personally think this doctor should be looked into as well as his staff.
