There is a reason why more than one person indicated this doctor extremly careless.

Dr Sheldon Goldhar was extremely careless when he did cataract surgery on my brother. He was in a rush and because of that his retina got detached and instead of sending him straight away to emergency my dear brother had to wait one week before he could see a specialist and by than it was too late and after that he had to go through few more very painful surgeries for retina to get attached . Because of his carelessness and no care attitude today my brother can only see about 35%. I would not recommend anyone to see Dr Sheldon Goldhar

Dr. Goldhar was kind and efficient during our appointments. I would have preferred him over one of his staff prior to the cataract surgery. She’s Indian and sits near the far left. She’s very rude, and unpleasant. Judging by the post below, I’m not alone in feeling this way. She’s impatient with seniors and those who do not speak English well. Heartbreaking to witness such behaviour.

Dr. Goldhar was wonderful for testing and consultation appointments. Indian (darker skin) female receptionist is efficient, helpful and respectful. The other Indian (lighter skin) female receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unfortunately not capable of handling the office tasks such as appointment booking, finding documents in my chart, or using their system. There is also a Afro-Canadian female receptionist who seems jovial and appears quick at her job. The eye test technicians (Indian, East Asian) are quick and kowledgeable. Avoid the light-skin Indian lady or, like me and my family members, you will feel like leaving this clinic. However, I am glad I stayed as Dr. Goldhar provided excellent medical care.

Made my husband blind in one eye. Left debris in other eye. Scratched his cornea. Western Hospital confirmed this. Should have read his reviews. Twentyfive percent unsatisfied customers is not good!!! He has heavy hands.

Office very busy and disorganized. I had questions prior to surgery that were never answered. This seems like an assembly line office with no help from staff.

Very friendly staff & short wait times switched from toronto western to here an don't regret it. Dr. Sheldon goldhar is very knowledgeable & is a great doctor answered all my questions & concerns

Sadly the eye operation was done very poorly requiring more surgery by other surgeons and he did not listen to what patient was saying as just far too busy and moving patients through as assembly line

Dr Sheldon Goldhar just did my left eye Cataract and has been taking care of me for several years, the eye is doing great after 5 days no pain or discomfort. The staff are busy but efficient at the office and also the Birchmount Hospital where he did the operation thanks to all great job…
