Dr Mackesy is truly an amazing doctor. I was referred to him from physio. He tried every type of testing, exercises even a cortisone shot and couldn't find out what was going on. Even though he was not able to pin point the issue himself, he referred me to another surgeon in the area to get a second opinion. He is very easy to understands and explains / shows you if he can what he is doing or what the issue my been in terms that you understand.

Dr. Mackesy has been helping me with a plethora of issues since I was about 12 (now 19) In this time he has diagnosed 3 chronic issues in which other doctors have ignored, and helped me throughout the treatment and recovery of each issue. He is an expert in just about everything, and is one of the leading doctors in concussion rehabilitation. With 7 head injuries, Mackesy has helped me to not become a vegetable. He is also just one of the most genuinely nice person you will ever meet. (Went in for a checkup on my hip and I had an average cold/flu. He was concerned and went and found me some trial vitamins and nasal spray, then got me a cold pack for my fever) SUCH AN AWESOME DOCTOR

Dr. Mackesy is an incredible man. Having experienced knee pain for over 7 years misdiagnosed and mistreated, he spoke to me in a genuine manner, explained everything in detail and asked my permission before ordering any tests. His exam was thorough, he took his time, and was on time. Highly recommend him as a sports therapist!!

An absolute rare find. Intelligent, easy to deal with and inquisitive. He genuinely wants to help as many people as he can. I was floored from his amount of detail and line of questioning that unfortunately is not performed by many other doctors. Sports physicians included.

Dr. Mackesy is a one of a kind. He is such an intelligent, caring Dr. This Dr. diagnosed my health issue of which other Dr's new nothing about and kept brushing off. He helped me substantially with pain management as well referred me to a highly recommended surgeon. After surgery Dr. Mackesy has continued to help me with my recovery. He is a rare find as he goes over and above to do anything he can to assist.

My daughter and I were completely wowed by Dr. Mackesy. At our first appointment, he took his time with us and explained matters in a non-condescending and thorough fashion; taking time to ensure we were comfortable with the commentary he had imparted Dr. Mackesy was extremely pleasant, jovial and patient. He had squeezed us in a last minute follow up appointment before departing for Vancouver Special Olympics and to our amazement and utter surprise, apologized for having kept us waiting for a mere 20+/-minutes as a result. Exceptional man; exceptional doctor and compartive to today's standards of practice, exceptional, outstanding, superior service. Would recommend him without hesitation.
