Used to be very kind and patient but now always very rushed and sometimes rude. Can make you feel like a burden for asking for medical tests or even taking up his time asking questions (even though that's what family doctors are for!)

Firstly, he has ZERO patience. How can you be a doctor who is rushing their patients when they're already clearly in pain or in ill health. Furthermore, he will never see you in person & only talks to you through the phone. Each phone call is timed by him and as he has said to me that he is trying to fit 6 patients per hour (10 mins each patient) so once you get past the 10 mins, he will start telling you he has no time and repeats how long you've already been on a call with him for e.g. I have already been talking to you for 12 mins 23s, you're cutting into my next calls and I cannot continue this call. I will need to end this call now. WHAT TYPE OF DOCTOR DOES THIS?!?!?

Worst of all, he does not keep track of what he has talked to you previously, e.g. stated I needed to do another blood test when all the markers were already done. I HAD TO REMIND HIM WHAT HAS BEEN DONE. He has no suggestions on what to do and, he has horrible attitude and constantly complains about how bad the healthcare system is in Canada (which he spends 5 mins bagging them) Need i say more? STAY AWAY... HE DOES NOT GIVE A S***

Have been seeing Dr Sheu for almost a decade and have found him to be very caring of his patients and extremely competent. Cannot recommend him more highly.

Terrible doctor who my parents had unfortunately been with for years. My father has type II diabetes and his health has deteriorated over time under his ‘professional guidance’. Many times he would turn away my parents when obviously they had a reason to see him even lied about not being in the office?? He is unprofessional and can be rude at times. If you simply need a prescription and dr’s notes then go to him. With $40 he can write anything you want, but if you seriously care about your health or that of the people you love, please go to a different doctor who genuinely care about their patients.

Dr. Sheu is a doctor that really cares about his patients and takes time to talk through everything in detail. His attentiveness can definitely help patients feel less stressed , as he isn't dismissive like a lot of doctors that I have previously seen.
