Well, if it isn't the first psychiatrist to get the ball rolling on a false diagnosis. I believe the term "gaslighting" might ring a bell because it's exactly the kind of abuse ,that is recognized as "abuse" here in Canada, and that you and your college's did to me. For anyone in this persons care or having anyone in his care, be aware of the term "gaslighting". This Dr. along with his friends in Chilliwack General Hospital do just that "gaslight" their patients into saying stuff so they can report it, and then falsely diagnose and medicate them. I was a patient of this so called Dr. and have retained all his BS comments and accusations in my hospital records. Nice job trying to make me incriminate myself, but you should not be practising medicine. And now you all hide behind your lawyers, totally pathetic. You, Dr. Mogamad Lilla and some others have some seriously messed up beliefs that people will be so quick to self incriminate themselves. Another pill pushing quack.

Dr Antony was my doctor for over a decade. Wonderful person and very knowledgeable. Helped our family through many hard times. Wish he was still here, but hope he is enjoying retirement with his family.

This guy does not have the knowledge or people skills to be in this field. There is good doctors and lousy ones just like all professions and he fits in the poor catagory . I would suggest you choose another doctor.

After trying a few medications that didn't work, I wanted to tell him about my childhood trauma. I agreed I'd type a document about it. After he read it, he said 2 things that I felt were out of place. First, that I must forgive my mother. Sure, that is desirable but sometimes there are some emotions that have to be felt first before that can happen. Second, that the sexual abuse from my father was done when he was drunk, as if somehow that wasn't as bad, even though it wasn't a one time occurence but several. I left feeling worse than ever and it took me several weeks to get over it. Later on it occurred to me that the reason why he said I must forgive my mother is due to his own cultural bias since he is from India. Plus, isn't it one of the commandments, that one must respect their parents no matter what, yet there is no commandment that they in turn need to nurture and respect their children. In addition, I found his preoccupation with straightening his notes distracting, as if he cared more about that than actually listening to what I had to say. He had to read over my file for a few minutes first, then go over old territory which wasn’t relevant to the appointment, which left hardly any time left in the appointment to get into anything. I think he just prefers to deal with medications than messy human emotions. Lastly, I don’t think he is well read – it is only in mainstream psychiatry. He didn’t know what a Highly Sensitive Person is and I imagine that he hasn’t even heard of the Briggs-Meyer 16 personalities.

Horrific management of a family member with addictions. Ordered medication that he was not to give to family member due to addictive nature. Patronizing, full of himself and poorly trained. Thank God he has retired and taken his archaic attitude back to India!

I have been a patient of Dr. Antony for over 10 years and am so grateful for how he has helped me. He is extremely knowledgeable and stays current with the latest studies and research findings. He is a great listener and offers helpful advice. He never pushes pills but always discusses options, explains side effects, and has even weaned me off some meds. I appreciate his punctuality and the fact that the sessions are just long enough to stay focused on the issues at hand. I am so grateful and blessed that he has been my doctor for so many years and I would highly recommend him.

I only see Dr. Antony because, apparently, there's no one else in town. The guy falls asleep in the middle of the extremely short sessions. He is more of a pill pusher than anything.
