Father is passing away, and we are out of town. After a cot was provided by care nurses, RN walked in dismantling it and throwing blankets onto the ground. Had some beautiful nurses but a few should be removed asap.

They turn you away in absolute pain saying they won't prescribe pain meds. What the heck are they there for if not to help them in need . No Dr tells me go to a opioid crisis center He could see i was in excruciating pain yet turned me away. Go to any other hosp not this one.

been to chilliwack emerge 3x. saw 3 different dr.’s with 3 different diagnoses. still have pain, and still don’t know what’s wrong. sorry to say. but the nursing staff is very slow to respond. waited right across from one of the nurses station and saw what does and doesn’t go on. nurses would sooner chat with each other than tend to patients. pretty sad actually. especially when you see adds on tv showing nurses being over worked. sorry my experience wasn’t a more positive one. especially with the pain i was experiencing. each wait was about 6 hours. the new flow nurse really needs to see what is happening behind the doors, when you actually get “behind those double doors”.

To whom this may concern; On August 9th, chilliwack, BC at 5:40 PM I called an ambulance for my 3 year old son as he was having a febrile seizure. Ambulance arrived everything was good they got my son into the the ambulance they forgot to take his blood pressure, then the ambulance broke down as my son was about to have another episode, fever spiking again I begin to worry then the gentle man tried to use his walky talky to contact someone but that to broke. This is very concerning that I sat in an ambulance hearing two people lost on what to do couldn't find thermometer to check my son's temperature to not having any medication with them to help him. Waited 45 minutes before another ambulance came so we could get to the hospital and receive proper care. This is very concerning if this was life or death and worries me for the next person and if they were in this situation as I was. The paramedics were very nice people but was very unprofessional and unorganized.

I am thoroughly disgusted with 90 per cent of the care my husband is recieving. In the 3 weeks he has been in hospital there was only one day that the nurses actually acted professional and as if they cared. They take all his dignity away. i.e like shutting his call bell off and not coming to his bed, not dressing him properly and so on. I will be taking my complaints further

Emerg staff need to take concerns seriously&stop judging/assuming things. So much time is wasted on nonsense theories based on whatever Agenda they may have @any particular moment.Absolute bizarre treatment, need updated sensitivity training. Some dr's&nurses there move slow as Sloths w/no care.Condescending unhelpful attitudes as well.Unacceptable treatment&attitudes from a staff that does Not know what they are doing.Questionable degrees&training!

I arrived on Saturday afternoon feeling unwell but not with all the typical heart attack symptoms ... was admitted and EKG right away the into Emergency... first blood test a bit off, had to wait 4 hrs for second blood test etc. Which showed I had had a mild Heart Attack and would be staying for a few days, at that point I blacked out having another for 30 seconds... the staff were amazing with the challenge of stabilizing me through the night... Sunday @ 11 am was told off by ambulance to the RCH for angiogram and angioplasty (3stents). Then right back to Chilliwack until my release on Tuesday. I can not say enough about the knowledge professionalism caring and kindness that was given to me by both Emergency and Intensive Care during an uncertain time, I also witnessed the same care being delivered to others - at times really time consuming care to them without consideration to the time, patient first. God Bless all of you with more strength and resolve, your dedication and ability to function with less resources than you should have everyday is amazing... my gratitude and admiration-in all ways... Paul and Wendy S

Some of the staff in emergency are extremely good looking, but they are pretty slow. It took me 41/2 hours to get an antibiotic for kidney infection.
