I'm sorry to see that people have not had a good experience with Dr. Goodemote, because mine have always been great. Unfortunately, she is not always able to be in the office, as she juggles another job at a hospital; her physician's assistant, Tom Doss, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Goodemote is always thorough with me and gives me a realistic assessment of what she thinks I might have, tests I might need, etc. I absolutely trust her and PA Doss to only recommend what they really think I need. They charge my insurance appropriately, unlike other doc's offices in the area. They have also been kind enough to zip me back take my temp, and give me a minor shot - flu, allergy, whatever it might be - without having to wait in the waiting room, since the whole thing takes a few seconds. Dr. Goodemote's office is also always willing to take me in for an appointment at the drop of a hat. They're so nice. I hope you have a similarly good experience soon!

I had quite a few things to say, however, the earlier posting says it all. I agree completely with all that is posted there. Everyone take heed, there are many Doctors to choose from, why would anyone want a Doctor that does not really care about you. To this Doctor, you are just a paycheck.

One is un-welcomed upon entering. If this is your first visit here, it is left up-to-you to knock on the glass for assistance. The office is on the dirty side, when I selected an brochure along with it came a spider, and lots of dust. The doctor has a know-it-all attitude, and wants a quick verbal overview of your condition. Your chart if read, is done after-the-fact. For exams you are supplied with a paper top that comes to your waist, not a cloth gown. For the cover sheet, it too is of paper, the size is about 2 foot x 2 foot, Therefore most of you is exposed. Don't try suggesting anything, this doctor will bark back at you. I made a simple mistake by saying, "do you think", and the bark back was somewhat loud and mean, "yes, I am the doctor".
