My husband, a retired surgeon, was insulted by this doctor when he mimicked his Parkinson's gait, spent less than 10 minutes with us ( telling someone that called him he would be there in ten minutes!) We had traveled 2 1/2 hours to see him. He prescribed an agonist, which was a mistake. It was an unbelievable experience!

Sexist, innatentive, and eager to pass out psych meds. Would not let me explain symptoms, onset, medical conditions, medications, or concerns. Only tested reflexes and fingers. Used the old sexist anxiety diagnosis and sent me out the door with advice to get a brace and a perscription for psyh meds. He needs to retire if he is too tired to listen to his patients and to do anything beyond the basics.

I arrived at my 1st appt.Dr. Morgenstein and my first impression (front desk) was very pleasant! I presented Dr. Morgenstein with multiple symptoms. He was thourough & detailed, as he took the time necessary to examine & address ALL of my concerns! He devised a treatment plan & I left feeling motivated and optimistic about my recovery process! Dr. Morgenstein demonstrated true passion for his profession and I was treated with the utmost compassion. I will definetly follow-up with Dr. Morgenstein and take any future concerns to him as well! Based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Morgenstein.

I have been seeing Dr. Morgenstern since the fall of 012. I have a complex neurological issue. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He is willing to work with me at all levels and presents treatments in a clear way, always following up with a written explanation. I have seen improvement in certain areas. I certainly recommend him.

Did not listen to my complaints. Sent to him because of a pons tumor and blown pupil. He told me to go to a opthamalogist and get some drops and maybe we should redo MRI in 6 months. It is a tumor according to my primary care doctor, and waiting 6 months is not a good idea.

Dr. Morgenstern had little interest in listening to my concerns or even my symptoms. He spoke on the phone with my primary care doctor for a total of four minutes, at least three and a half of which were about another patient. He did a cursory neurological exam (under four minutes) and decided that I was careless and had too many things on my mind. My condition (whatever it is) is very specific, very unusual for me, and definitely not casual or the result of carelessness. The symptoms are frightening, and I would have appreciated my doctor listening to me and actually THINKING instead of simply shrugging my condition off as just inattention. .

Dr. Morgenstern spent a lot of time with me and I was his last appointment of the day. He really spent the time to look through my MRI and explain it to me. He did not rush into a diagnosis or to put me on drugs until he looks into it further.

I went in as referral from the emergency room after I had been suffering horrible dizzy spells without obvious cause. He spoke with me for 5 minutes (literally) did a cursory neuro exam (5 minutes) and promptly diagnosed me with panic disorder (!!) When i explained I had no other symptoms accompanying the dizzyness and that I did not agree with his assessment he prescribed me an anti depressant and a powerful tranquilizer and sent me on my way! He didn't explain about side affects or long-term consequenses on taking these drugs. I do not have panic disorder and am glad I was smart enough to seek other medical advice instead of taking these medications I clearly did not need -some of which have horrible side affects.

Although Dr. Morgenstern was knowledgeable, he was not very good at explaining why he prescribed numerous medicines for me and details about my diagnosis. In my experience, he was reluctant to answer questions that I brought to my appointment with me, and was aggravated that I would not just take my prescriptions and go home. Now I need to see another Neurologist, (more $$$) because my questions are important, and I need to have them answered. I waited 15 minutes past my appointment time. Not the worst wait, but not the best. I left my appointment thinking that maybe my condition (complex migraine) is not a priority for him, compared to his other patients. However, it is important to me, and that is why I spent money and time to see him. It was a very disappointing experience.
