I have taken my twins to Dr. Bennett for their annual well child visits as well as my son's learning disability. Dr. Bennett took the time I needed for all the visits. She is very knowledgable, and is an excellent pediatrician!

Found her tardy and untidy, lost records, double dosed my child with one vaccine and skipped on others.

The good: is personable and seems to truly care about the babies. Spends a decent amount of time with the child. Is pro breast feeding and will help a mother with any feeding issues. The bad: Always runs late, I've waited for over an hour in the waiting room... Besides taking care of her pediatric patients, she also does other procedures (hair removal?) for adult patients during regular hours, which I think is in conflict with what her primary concerns should be. I have had to wait way past my actual appointment time, because an adult was getting one of these procedures done in her office.She seems pretty quick to push medication for a baby without taking time to truly diagnose a problem or think of alternate treatments. Lastly, and this may not have anything to do with her medical abilities, her appearance is often unprofessional and distracting. I am often greeted by her wearing some super tight, very low cut dress that just does not belong in a professional environment

Dr. Bennett reminds me of times gone by when doctors made house calls and really made an effort to meet the needs of their patients. Our son had croup (I hope I spelled that correctly), which is a scary sounding cough as far as brand new parents go. She had previously told us to call her anytime if we thought something was significant. We called her at 4am on a Sunday morning and her answering system transfered us to her cell phone, which she answered! She gave us good advice right over the phone, and we were able to settle our son down quite quickly. She then met us at her office later on that SUNDAY to trat him and provide us with a nebulizer and medicine. While I think she is quite opinionated in regards to her practice.... I welcome that!! She should always be challenging her industry and asking questions of how her industry practices medicine on her clients. I think she is excellent, and I would recommend her. Dr. Bennett is very nice and has 4 kids to boot, so you don't have to worry about a doc with no real kid experience. Very knowledgeable and even offers emt and cpr classes for parents. She loves kids and is very good with them.

She has been my childrens doctor since birth. When my daughter had a ruptured appendix at age 5 (quite young for appendix) she quickly diagnosed the problem and had everything set up for us at the hospital when we arrived. My favorite thing about Doctor Bennett is that if she does not know the answer to a question she is not afraid to say so and look it up or get back to you with answers. She is great with the kids.
