I found Dr Levin's staff to be quite good, but the doctor himself really fell down on the job. He wasn't able to handle my somewhat tricky response to HRT, having had no experience with patients who have had trouble finding the correct dosage. He recommended an anti-aging treatment that the company's own research has shown is cancer-inducing over the long term. (The company has a new compound available that's much safer, but Dr. Levin insists that the product he sells is fine.) Flatly disregarded most of my concerns and tried to convince me nothing was wrong. His nurse practitioner is even more out of touch with the science of hormone replacement than he is, and pushes healthy patients to get hysterectomies. Avoid this practice.

Dr.Levin is an excellient M.D. The front office staff is rude and unprofessional. An I am a retired R.N. and have found the front office staff in Santa Fe medical offices in general could use some serious customer service training. Dr.Pat Pacheco has the best front office staff I have encounted here, friendly, courteous, polite. Actually appear to like their jobs and enjoy working there.

Pleasant doctor who keeps up-to-date on medical research, is very frank in telling you what he thinks is best for a certain malady and why; Dr. Lee Levin will take care not to over-prescribe therapies.

Dr. Levin is a favorite doctor of mine for the past nice years. Always listens and appears to want to get to the root of the problem. Interested if I find something working outside of his suggestions. He has made room for me when I needed to see him without an appointment. His staff are nice people but not at all up to par with the doctor. I have had to make numerous calls over the years to get correct information sent to other doctors etc. Two occasions my appointment was cancelled but I was not informed. However, I think so much of Dr. Levin I will put up with the poorly run front office.

I saw this dr for years. He is an excellent dr and a nice man, but he has a very "funky" personality. His office help is out of control and he complains about them himself but if he's sincere in this, he is unable to correct them. I was seriously ill and his staff insisted that I see the ARNP in the office; she mishandled me so badly and repeatedly that I have permanent damage from her errors, and I could not get an appointment with Dr Levin during this time, thanks to the receptionist and the nurse. The hired help has far more control in this office than the physicians.

Like many doctors today he seems rushed and is always preoccupied with taking copious notes. Shies away from casual contact with his patients.
