The most expensive place to buy glasses, gives you glasses when you don't need them, had old pair
checked against new pair no difference!!!

I always find the staff to be very positive in all the dealings I have had with them, whether it be the testing prior to seeing the Dr, or booking your next appt. They are always accomodating. The Dr. always explains to you each step he is taking and why. Never blows off any question you may have and you never feel rushed. He will politely stand up to leave if you go a bit too long or off topic, but always with a smile. I have complete trust in him and have recommended him and the clinic in general to many friends and family who have since switched from their present offices.

Dr. Ahokas is extremely patient in explaining treatment options and any concerns I have had. I recommend him to all my friends and family. The office is bright and the staff are helpful and friendly.

I called to get a copy of my prescription for a pair of contacts. I was told that needed to redo my eye test-$100, then do a "fitting" for $150 and then pay for the contacts worth $200 for 6 months worth of use. My wife got new contacts a couple months ago and didn't need to do anything, and didn't pay for a fitting. They told me the year was up on my prescription- when I told them that the Dr can extend the prescription for an additional year they told me to call back. I called them back and they said the Dr. said he wouldn't extend the prescription and that I would have to come in- I told them that my insurance only pays for eye care once every 2 years. They said there is nothing they can do. It is June and my prescription expired May. I called back and told them I want a copy of my prescription and picked it up. I noticed the Dr. wrote that the prescription was "not Valid" I brought the prescription to another optometrist and they said it was ridiculous that they never renewed it.

Eye exam only c/w new gloucoma test. We found out very late that the surgeon my wife was refered to was suspect. The specialist that Dr. Ahokas refered was not given a very good rating which frightens us.It's unfortunate that Dr. Ahokas does not have an after hours number for emergency calls so that we could query him on this recommendation.
