Dr. D'Ortenzio is a great doctor... however his front desk staff has got to go. Likely will not be going back due to the front desk rudeness, cutting you off on the phone and having a very unpleasant demeanour. I found them extremely un-pleasant when I had a problem with my lens being scratched. I was told 'this is the last time we're fixing it.' However, if one pays $400-ish for a pair of glasses with 'anti-scratch' coating, I expect them NOT to scratch after 3 months and to be replaced without question.

Dr. Sam is knowledgeable.Find staff is very short with you do not return your calls as promised. Still waiting for the call back. Seems that either staff doesn't want to help you or never wants to really listen to why a child is need to be seen. Guess I'll have to follow up again. Keep up the good work Dr. Sam but you should reevaluate you staff. I know they've been there a long time. But keeping your patient keeps you in business.

Dr. Sam is good. He is helpful and I have never had a problem with my prescription glasses. The staff on the other hand is something to be desired. Dr. Sam should talk to them about their rudeness and cutting you off when you call.

I, and my family have used Dr Sam for many, Many years. He is GREAT!!!!! His office staff is also great. Over all I find one of the best Optometristin the city. My history with Dr Sam started when I was in my early 20's (we are about the sam age) and as stated before I have been very pleased. If you are looking for an optometrist please give Sam a try.

Dr. D'Ortenzio is a very knowledgable doctor... the front desk staff is a little stuck up sometimes. I would recommend the doctor, but I am looking for another place due to the rudeness of the front desk staff.
