A great doctor who helped put me on the path to health. Highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Mahalingham for 16yrs and in that time I have noticed that Yes he can be gruff and his bedside manner can use a little work and he doesn't like it when people waste his time but he is a great Doc. Unfortuaetaly he can only look after 1 ailment at a time due to clinic policy. I went to see him for 1 thing but as we were talking he noticed something on my neck that I had not noticed, after he looked after what I was there for he had me make another appointment. When I came back he ended up doing a biopsy. As it turned out it was a malignant form of cancer that had broken through my skin. Long story short, he refered me to one of the best cancer Docs and I can now say I am cancer free as it was caught in time. Highly recommend him

I am so thankful that I am one of his patients. Yes, he maybe gruff at times but we all have days like that. I find him compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I brought my mom to see him and he referred her to one of the best surgeons. I can't thank him enough since she hasn't had any complications since seeing Dr Plewes. Patients should feel lucky when they leave a doctors office with a referral or a suggestion instead of a prescription. He is definately not in this profession for the money or everyone would be receiving an unnecessary prescription with each visit. Thank you for being such a great person and professional.

Have been seeing Dr.Mahalingham for over 30 years.Started seeing him when I was a young girl, now my three adult children are seeing him. Very knowledgable. Would recommend him to anyone, although I don't think he is taking new patients are he is terribly busy with his current ones. Would recommend this doctor in a heartbeat.

Very good doctor with alot of knowledge and humour. Can be "short" and "gruff" at times. Poor supporting staff.

needs a reality check when coming to politeness. One problem at a time does not cut it. He is in the wrong trade.

He has been my doctor for many years. I have no problem with him. He has taken excellent care of me during any illness and after surgeries (along with the specialists). I am one of his patients he will see without an appointment. He told me no appointment necessary if its urgent. However, I do make appointments when its not urgent and sit and wait like everyone else. He has always treated me with respect and understanding.

The absolute worst doctor I have ever visited in my ENTIRE life. I came in for an ingrown toenail, and had a procedure set up to remove it. I had to ask so many questions to understand to procedure, for eg: will it be frozen, questions anyone would be curious about. Would you like to know the response I got from him? well it was literally "YOU SHUT UP" my mouth literally dropped to the floor on hearing this, what type of professional let alone man talks to a woman in this manner? I found this so disrespectful and rude, I could not wait till that door opened so I could leave and find someone else who would RESPECT me as a patient, somehwere I should feel very comfortable. Bed side manner is in the negative for this man, he is TERRIBLE, I could go on and on, but theres not enought characters to allow it. He was a 1 time visit and a definite last, terrible!!

I went to him only once because it was short notice and I was not able to see my own doctor, and I guarantee it was the last. I just got back from Greece, and after 2-3 days, and I was experiencing terrible head aches, so I went to him to make sure everything was okay, incase I caught something over there. He would not listen to a word I had to say, he would only tell me it was because of my glasses, which was completely irrelevant. He was very rude to myself, and my mother who came with me. He told us everything we said was wrong, my head was hurting so bad, and with his yelling, I left the clinic in tears. I would certainly not recommend this doctor to anything, unless you can tolerate that sort of manner. Also, I know for a fact when I go to my doctor, I usually only go if I have more then one issue. How inconvienent, also a waste of money.

He is only working to make lots of money. I have sat there and seen patients go in and out taking a couple of minutes on an average. He asked me to make an appointment and when I showed up on the date he told me to make another appointment since he did not perform that procedure on those days of the week.
