I have a son who is 18 and a daughter, 15. They both have been seeing Dr. Severson since birth. Dr. Severson is a very caring, kids friendly, knowledgeable doctor and my kids(Jeff & Emily) love him.

Dr. Severson has been my kids' doctor since the birth of my first child 28 years ago. He is wonderful, does not rush to conventional treatments that can be painful, expensive, and ultimately ineffective. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Severson is clearly an excellent pediatrician. He was recommended to me by my OB/GYN, who said he was her children's pediatrician. I cannot think more highly of him. He is excellent with children, and is extremely thorough in explaining not only his thought processes on why he's treating something the way he is, but also he will often go into explanations on how the body works and what various treatments or medicines do and how they interact with the body. This is great since oftentimes he will have answered 3 or 4 questions I would have asked, and given me insight into so much more. I'll never forget during our initial "interview" meeting, how he stressed that children cannot simply be treated as miniature adults for a variety of reasons. He never gives the impression that he does not have time to answer your questions. My children love him, and after 7 years, we have always been extremely impressed and pleased with the care that he and his staff have provided.

There is simply not a better pediatrician in the Omaha area, in my experience. The prior comments are no exaggeration, you feel as if you are his only person to see all day. I have 3 children under his care, and have never in 9 years had a reason to doubt or question his judgment. I have not encountered a professional of his caliber with a bedside manner like his. Simply unmatched!

My kids have seen Dr. Severson for over 6 years. He always explains things thoroughly and takes all the time needed. He has never hesitated to make hard decisions regarding my children's health, including amitting my 5 week old to the hospital. I would recommend him to anyone.

Very professional and very good w/ children and parents!Very patient and will answer all questions you have. Acts like your child is his only patient for the day. All his staff are very curtious and professional also.
