My experience with Dr. Lamattina has been excellent from the routine office visits to the surgeries he has performed. I would recommend him highly.

A very thoughtful and sincere physician...had to wait a bit in the office but well worth the wait...spent a lot of time going over my problems, answering questions...highly recommend him

This man's bedside manner is awful, and he simply will not answer patient questions. When wondering whether or not your mother is about to drop from a serious heart condition in her 50s that sent her to intensive care already, you don't really want to wait for some doctor to come in after watching him giggle with a nurse for 20 mins, shoot a smarmy look at you, and spend ten seconds rehashing information that you found on the Internet before vanishing with a condescending look and a "I'm sorry, I have rounds" when you try to ask questions. He was by far the worst part of what was otherwise a positive experience at Emerson Hospital, and given his fairly important role -- you know, treating the condition that might kill my mother at any time -- I hope to have the chance to warn people in advance. Emerson's a great place, but if you're a cardiac patient assigned to Lamattina, spare yourself the anxiety and do whatever you can to find a different doc, or if necessary, hospital.

This doctor has been in to my heart arteries three times and after the third view he has deceided that some of the parts of my heart are wrong. Why did it take three visits to find this out?
