I brought my son to see Dr. Moussa for vision therapy. I had been talking on the phone to a friend who brought her daughter and when I hung up, my son told me he read with only one eye (he would suppress his his left eye and no one had ever noticed). When he was two, the surgeon wanted to correct his eyes with surgery, which I would not do. We did the vision therapy and now he can read with both eyes, his eyes work together (he had two lazy eyes and trouble at school). Now he can keep up with the school work, his grades have improved a lot, he's faster at his school work. Dr. Moussa is doing very advanced work. Yes, it is expensive but when you look at the long term benefits, it's worth every penny.

Money, money, money : That's all it is with Dr. Moussa.. I was born with vision problems and had 2 corrective surgeries as a child. Now in my adulthood I am having extreme pain and focusing probs due to my accommodative esoptropia. I have been waiting to see a surgeon in Toronto and I decided to look into vision therapy as an option. After a student did my eye exam Dr. Moussa came in and said they won't do surgery on you, you are too old. I can correct your vision and rid of your headaches through 70 sessions of therapy. I asked if there is a money back guarantee for his services and he laughed and said "No", I said what makes you think I am going to give you $5500 with no guarantee? I wouldn't buy a car without a guarantee this is my health! If the government and insurance companies won't cover this therapy doesn't that tell you something?? It may work for some but doesn't work for all. He felt I could finance it with my bank or he could put me on a payment plan..yowsie..

Went to Dr. Moussa for my son's vision. He didn't ask any history, whether he was premature etc. The assistant did the tests and he came in to do the diagnosis. He said he needed glasses - here is the prescription, go get the glasses at this specific store (he owns it). The store called me to come and pick them up! Money grab much? I asked my MD for a referral to London and I'm glad I got a second opinion! After 2 minutes of looking at him, the therapist in London told us he has Duane's syndrome. At our follow up appointment with the Opthamolgist, she confirmed that yes, he has Duane's and his vision is otherwise PERFECT. No glasses needed! Go with your gut and do what feels right. A second opinion from a doctor that doesn't have a fiscal interest in your child's diagnosis is always better! This guy should be reported...

My wife, 3 children and myself all had a fantastic experience with Dr Moussa and his staff. He was especially fantastic with my 3 year old son, who has all sorts of anxiety with doctors (or strangers for him). I had a thorough examination myself and enjoyed hearing about different concerns I should heed going forward. Coming from Toronto where I had a stellar selection of doctors and medical professionals to deal with, it has taken 5 years for me to find someone thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and personable like Dr Moussa. I'm reading these other reviews, thinking people want their doctors to be miracle workers. I can't speak to other people's issues -- I just know how critical I can be and how very pleased and satisfied my family and I were with our experience. In a place like Windsor, its tough to find gems like this doctor.

Dr Moussa is a very helpful and knowledgeable doctor. He is very outright which I like, and he doesn't beat around the bush and tells you the problem and what is needed to correct it. I never feel rushed when I am at my appointment, and he genuinely cares about the issues I present. I personally never had vision therapy, but a friends child needed it and she had nothing but amazing things to say about it and how much it helped her.

I started taking my daughter to see Dr.Moussa for a lazy eye when she was 2 until she was 3.5. First he was very helpful and interested in doing the best for her.I even went to one of the vision therapy info sessions. It seemed like he was pushing for that than anything else.It also brings in alot of money for him not covered by insurance.Months later after her eye was not getting better I asked for a referral to london. He got upset and started raising his voice and yelling at me and refused. He also said that he is "the best in Windsor",and that he only refers to London if there needs to be surgery. According to him my daughter didn't need surgery. I then went to my family doctor and got a referral to london. The very first appointment in London with no doubt the doctor told me she needed corrective surgery. My daughter has since than had surgery on her eyes and the results were amazing. Now I ask myself what if I were still taking her to Dr.Moussa the best in Windsor. Very disappointing!!

His staff at both locations are worst. No greeting or hello from staff. He never been on time. Not helpful at all. No vision therapy rate discount, even patient is loosing his/her vision. I should say he has no heart. Yes he has knowledge about eye abnormalities. he and His wife are only legally authorized to perform vision therapy, but he has unauthorized staff for vision therapy. So be careful and never let anybody else touch you child. All Dr. Moussa need money money

I was just recently seen at doctor Moussas office and think he is a terrific eye doctor. The staff was very friendly and very helpful when I was picking out glasses and when i had questions about my insurance policy, Dr.Moussa himself was very thorow with the exam and informative. I will be taking my children and husband there for an eye exam soon

My child and I had recently gone there for a eye exam and when I walked in the office, the staff did not greet me or my child at all. I have been a patient of Dr. Moussa for over 3 years now and never had a problem with the staff until now. The darker hair, darker skin girl at the front desk seemed to hate her life and not want to be at work. She was very tough and seemed to think that we were idiots because I had a question about the form that we needed to fill out. I wish that he would bring much helpful and nicer staff other than staff that don't even smile at patients. Yes, he is a very good doctor but if his staff does not get changed, I will never be going back there AT ALL!
