I seen her twice and ONLY twice. to me, she not a good doctor. She is not interested in my opinions and she missed diagnosed me and gave me bladder pills (Which cause an infection) when I had was a cyst on my ovary

I went to see her after hurting my shoulder, she got me in for an xray right away. She is a wonderful doctor and does take time with her pateints.

I went to see Dr. Hetherington a year ago for an eczema problem and she notice that my thryroid was very swollen, something i didnt have a clue about..If she didnt look/notice i could be in pretty bad shape...Everytime i see her she always takes her time and doesnt rush..Def one of the best doctors ive seen!

I think Dr. Hetherington is a good doctor, she takes the time to listen to my concerns and asks me questions. I believe she cares for my health and I trust her instinct. I have only been to see her a few times but she has always been very helpful to me and I feel very comfortable talking to her and letting her know whats going on with me.

I went to see her after I had moved here from another province. My old Dr. was about to send me to an OBGYN, and when I moved her I asked her for the referal. After 10 months of fighting with her, 2 misplaced test results and her ordering blood work that she can't remember and has no record of ordering and claiming a Dr. in a city that I have NEVER been to in my life I switched Dr.'s. As it turns out, the bad periods as she claims are cancer....I have a wonderful oncologist and a great new GP. If I had listened to Hetherington I still won't have known. She did send me to the OBGYN finally, but forgot to tell anyone in the office to send the referral untill 6 weeks later when I called to check. They phoned me today to tell me that the biopsy the OBGYN did was cancer......I found out a month ago it was.

I don't know what you are all talking about--I found her compassionate, knowlegdeable, and very approachable. She was very straight forward when it came to me health issues. I am wondering if we are talking about the same person. She is very busy but found time to call me at home to ask if I was feeling better. It is not an easy job and my health is my reponsibility but she gave me some healthful suggestions on my weight control and family issues. I did not find her at all judgemental.

I have never felt so angry leaving a doctors office, She looked at me like I was lieing when I was explaining my food habits, she judged me and cut me off when I was talking and just very inconciderate. She gave me my first PAP in 5 years and made it the worse experience of my life, I am a bigger person but after leaving that office I felt so depressed and unhappy I will never go back to her ever again. I am glad I came here to check her out cuz I have some of the same feelings as most of you. All I wanted to do was tell her how much I hated her, espically when I had been waiting for a while and standing in a cold room naked waitinf for the PAP and she took off to another paitent. I had to ask her if I needed to take all my clothes off and what I was to do she didn't give off any info....

I found Dr. Hetherington to be disinterested and lacking information regarding my questions & requests. I went to her for 3 years.

In a word terrible, the unfortunate part is that her ego seems to be behind the wheel rather than her training as a doctor. I was told that my condition was a physiological one rather than a medical one and she would not prescribe me anything. My new doctor she had never heard of a doctor not prescribing a patient something for my condition. Avoid her at all costs as she should have her medical license revoked.
