I already saw two oral surgeons to discuss if I could have implants. I’ve lost several teeth over the years and could not afford implants. Recently I received a large settlement and can now afford the implants. I found out from a family member that today oral surgeons , gum specialists and regular dentists are now doing implants. I did some more reasearch and it was clear that oral surgeons had the most educational and were the most qualified. I wanted an oral surgeon with years of experience and his own practice. I felt it would be a better experience if I had a one on one interaction just like I’ve had with my private dentist for 12 years. I found Dr. Biondo through Zocdoc. I scheduled the appointment and was literally blown away after I saw him. His office is spotless, modern and conveniently located, he spent almost an hour and a half examining me and coming up with a treatment plan. He was clear , exact and extremely knowledgeable. I also mentioned to him about my inheritance so cost would not be an issue. He basically said I could have three implants. In the other parts of my mouth I wasn’t a good candidate and he recommended I go back to my dentist for permanent bridges. When I asked about bone grafting or sinus grafting , he told me it was a much more expensive and time consuming option. He also had concerns about the success due to my medical history. I wanted to pay and schedule the three implants immediately but he refused, I was shocked, He referred me to a gum specialist to evaluate my other teeth and he also referred me back to my dentist to confirm if any of my fillings or caps needed to be taken care of first. Dr, Biondo said he would not perform any elective procedure until everything else was completed first. I was charged $200.00 for the exam. He used the x-ray I brought with me. With the years of experience in the same location and his total honesty, there is no one else I would go to for my implants.

Similar to other patients, Dr Biondo also swindled me by requiring that I pay up front, and saying that I'd get a refund if my health and dental insurance plans paid for the procedure. My health and dental insurance did pay, and Dr Biondo's office gave me a partial refund.

He should not be in business of taking patients money, and not responding to emails. I will be opening a claim with Aetna and United healthcare to see if they can help.

I wish I read his reviews before I went to see him. Please save yourself the headache and pick a different provider.

The whole experience while visiting this doctor made me feel like I was a victim of a scam. If you start feeling the same way, think twice before going back there. Consider getting a second opinion. The receptionist/assistant is not very knowledgeable, but she is very friendly and trying to be as nice to the patients as she can.

Dr.Biondo did my bottom implants 5 years ago. I had an operation in the hospital which required general anesthesia. A few weeks late I noticed my front bridge was loose. I went to my dentist. He said the teeth holding the bridge we're week and most likely needed to be extracted. I would then need 5 more implants. My dentist tried to hold onto the teeth but they got worse. I returned to Dr Biondo and he confirmed I needed 7 teeth extracted and 5 implants. He also told me I could simply have the 7 teeth extracted and have my dentist make me a denture. I thought this was odd because if I choose that option he would loose thousands of dollars in implants! He also suggested that I get another opinion to make absolutely sure my teeth could not be saved. I move foward with Dr Biondo's treatment. He removed 7 teeth and placed 5 implants in one day! I was not asleep and I was his only patient. It was like he closed the office for me. I felt no pain and had a world class experience. My dentist attached my new teeth in two weeks. In addition to this exceptional care I could not believe what he personally did to recover my money. I have dental insurance, two medical insurances and a special medical benefit card with 15,000.00 available for medically necessary procedures. Dr. Biondo personally filed the claims to all my insurances . When everyone denied the claims he submitted to my medical benefit fund. They denied it. He then appealed, wrote more narratives and suggested I get my human resources person involved. He spoke to her personally. He told her that my teeth were damaged due to the operation I had and the general anesthesia and therefore my implants were medically necessary. He also said he was suprized I did not sue the hospital. In about three weeks I received a check for $15,000.00 which essentially took care of whatever I paid Dr. Biondo and I had some left over to pay my dentist for my teeth. I know he did all this personally since he would call me with updates. I cannot believe a doctor would take this much time helping his patient get her money back especially since I paid him $12,500.00 up front. He is a saint.

I went to see Dr. Biondo with swelling caused by my bottom wisdom tooth. My dentist gave me antibiotics which was not helping the swelling. I am also pregnant and was not comfortable with going under anesthesia. Dr. Biondo examined me and agreed that I would be better off with just the needles. I explained my fear and he was very understanding. I think we spoke for about 20 minutes about my fear. He then started the procedure. He put plenty of the gel on my gum and waited a long time. When he gave me the first shot I barely felt anything. I then sat for at least 15 minutes. When he was confident I was numb he gently gave me another shot. We waited another 10 minutes. He then carefully started to pull my tooth. He was very slow and gentle. He kept asking if I was feeling anything. Within a couple of minutes the tooth was out! I felt no pain and was very pleased. I was actually shocked since I had another wisdom tooth pulled last year by another dentist. He gave me the gas and the shots. He was rough, in a rush and I felt a lot of pain. After this great experience with Dr. Biondo I am thinking of suing that other dentist. Dr. Biondo is a great dentist!

I have had trust issues with dentists and oral surgeons in the past. Therefore I had to write this review. I had a root canal performed by my dentist two years go and I had no paid after. Then about a few weeks ago I started to have pain. My dentist referred me to Dr. Biondo for extraction and implant. I had this same situation 5 years ago when i was living in Florida. The Oral surgeon extracted my tooth and placed the implant. It cost me $2,850.00. I was now prepared for the same treatment in Dr. Biondo's office. I had a referral card that said extract # 4 and place implant. I was given the fee by his secretary. Dr. Biondo then came into the treatment room and examined me. I was all ready to pay the fee for the extraction and implant; however Dr. Biondo was not convinced my tooth needed to be extracted. he referred me to a root canal specialist. The root canal specialist examined me and redid the root canal. I now have no pain and I saved a good tooth. Dr. Biondo could have easily removed my tooth and placed the implant for a substantial fee yet he was trustworthy and honest. I did not even have to pay a co-payment for the consult and x-ray since my insurance covered it. It is very comforting that there are honest doctors out there that truly care for the patient instead of the money! I would highly recommend him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Biondo. I contacted the office in severe pain looking for an emergency appointment. Dr. Biondo took the call himself and informed me he could see me immediately. He never asked about any insurance coverage. Once I arrived, he greeted me personally and saw I was in severe pain. He quickly asked me some questions about my medical history. When he was satisfied that I had no medical history, he brought me into the treatment area and gave me a shot to get me out of pain. I was finally comfortable. I then went back to the waiting room and completed the forms. It now was obvious that Dr. Biondo did not participate with my plan. He actually agreed to treat me at no cost! The wisdom tooth was removed with no pain with just the shot. I was discharged with pain medication and antibiotics. I received a call from him personally that evening. I returned the following week for my follow up appointment. I had no complications and healed normally. I took out my credit card wanting to pay for his services and once again I was told there was no charge. I was told to follow up with my dentist to make sure I had not other issues with the teeth next to my wisdom teeth. In addition to the top quality professionalism and service I really liked the fact that he practices in an office solo. There are no other dentists or surgeons and as a result there is a direct one on one accountability. When I arrived crying and in pain there was someone else in the waiting room waiting for their appointment for implants. That person was actually rescheduled to make room for my emergency. I cannot give enough praise!

Worst dentist. I was in so much pain during the procedure and he didn't care. He continued to be rough just to get the job done. I'm am completely traumatized of all dentists because of him.

I had to take my 11yr old daughter to have 2 canine teeth removed for prep for Orthodontia. Dr. Biondo is a first rate phyisican and his staff was caring and courteous. He was very patient with my nervous daughter and was ever so gentle with the anesthesia which was required for the removal. He was so dedicated and kind to my daughter and to me. Explained everything to her before it happened so she clearly understood what was to be expected. This was my daughter's first experience with a surgery and she was so at ease thanks to Dr. Ronald Biondo. After ward my daughter said it wasn't painful at all. :)
