I was in the unusual situation of working professionally with this doctor for a few years before I retired then going to him for anesthesia advice as a patient. You could not find a better doctor; he is peofessional and easy to talk to. I had a terrible experience with anesthesia in the past (with another provider) and spoke with Dr. Mangione about doing my surgery with just a block (no sedation/painkiller)...He took my question seriously and reviewed all of my options. He is the best anesthesiologist that I have ever met.
