Unless you present yourself to his storefront office, he won’t help even established patients. He’s unavailable via phone, and will not call in refills to CVS. You must rise from your sick bed—fever, aches and all—drive to his office and pony up $200. Laura

Money seeking Dr. with nurses that don't know how to draw blood...He makes you wait a long time even though there are no other customers...requires several unnecessary office visits or else no help or presciptions....stay away folks.

Doesn’t return phone messages. Wants you in every 3 months for prescription refills. Though pleasant, staff is insufficiently trained.

Great doctor. Not your typical "get in, get out, see you later" doctor. Explains the problem in detail and has a thorough plan. My friend, who had a problem that half a dozen doctors could not figure out, went to see Dr. Pugach on my recommendation, and she was diagnosed in 2 visits by Dr. Pugach.

Set appt for shot for poison ivy. Wouldn't give because BP was 140/85, but gave me 5 pills (same as shot) & topical cream. On day 6, with no pills left ivy began to spread again. Called for script for more pills & was told have to set another appt. Upon refusal, she said she'd ask Dr & call back. Of course no call, so I called back & was told not reviewed by Dr yet. Few min later got call to go get prescription. Went all way to pharmacy & it was more topical cream. They are very incompetent.

I will never go back to this Dr again. He was rude and arrogant and did not even address my issue. Waste of time and money for sure!!

I have been going to Dr. Pugach as my PCP for several years now, despite having excellent insurance. In the past, he's been wonderful, but lately, the service in his office has gone completely down the tubes. The two girls in the front are nice enough, unless for some reason you try and ask a question or schedule a follow up. When I first started going, Dr. Pugach seemed very much like a real doctor who took the time to listen to you, come up with a long term plan, and he really was just as good as any other doctor I've ever been to. Lately though, he just churns through people as fast as he can and doesn't give a $#!T anymore. It's a shame, because he used to be great. Now I won't ever be going back.
