Dr. Morton delivered both of my children. She stayed 2.5 hours (until 9:30pm) after her shift ended to deliver my son. She came in 4 hours before her shift started to deliver my daughter at 3 am. She cried with me when I miscarried and required a DNC. The only real gripe I have, is that appointments may be scheduled during the physicians on call rotation. If this happens and the physician is needed at the hospital, you may be waiting quite a while. Even if your appointment is not during the doctor's on call time, you may be waiting a while. Part of the reason for the delay, is because the doctor actually spends time with you and listens. She doesn't just nod and run out to get to the next patient.

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Morton. I was diagnosied with preeclamsia after spending a weekend in the hopsital and almost having to deliver early. I was then coming in twice a week until I delivered. When she saw me, she did not even look at my chart before walking in the room and dismissed my preeclampsia, even though I had gained 10 lbs in less than 5 days. Also, she sent me home without doing a urine test to check my protein levels. I went home that weekend, and I had a terrible headache and extremely high blood pressure. Thankfully the nurse who had assisted me in the hopsital told me to call over the weekend if I felt worse. That happened and I had to continue to call and convince them that my condition had worsened. The finally told me to come in on a Sunday, and sat in the hospital until Wednesday, seeing several different doctors before they finally induced me when it was convenient for them. Then, Morton was the doctor on duty, and once the labor started moving, the nurses kept calling her to come and she was taking her time. The nurse had to have me hold pushing through contractions because the doctor wasn't there yet. The nurse told her when she finally arrived to "put the big gloves on" and she didn't listen...until I started pushing and she saw the baby was coming. One push and she came out, my daughter had a bruise on her head from where I had to wait on Dr. Morton to arrive. They Dr. Morton and the other doctors in the practice kept telling me that preeclamsia is cured by delivery, but I continued to have blood pressure issues and had to stay in the hospital for days. They also didn't inform me that the drugs they had put me on would effect my child, until after she was born. It took days for them to get out of her system and none of the doctors told me that. Not to mention, I had to wait four days until delivery because they weren't ready, keeping me and my child on that medication for those unnecessary days. We survived, which I am thankful for, but it was not without much added stress from this doctor. I would not recommend her at all.

Dr Morton has been taking care of me and my female issues for over 3years. She listens to my concerns. She did my uterine ablation 2 years ago, and I thank God monthly for her. The office staff is amazing!

Love love love Dr. Morton, she was my delivery doctor for both of my kids and she was very thorough with everything she did. Referred a family member to her and she called and told me how happy she was to go to her!!! Dr. Morton is the best hands down!!!

This is a FANTASTIC office. Dr Morton and her staff are friendly and thorough! Dr. Morton took the time to sit and explain my care in the most personal and compassionate way. Her reputation as a terrific physician and surgeon brought me to this practice and I am truly blessed.

Forgot major details about my history and almost sent me home from the hospital - when I reminded her staff to remind her of the details, I was instead rushed into emergency surgery like I should have been from the beginning, had she not forgotten (or had bothered to look at my chart). I shudder to think what would have happened had I just said ok and went home instead. She has no bedside manner, no patience for things that are not "textbook" issues. Sometimes she is just plain rude! Please do not trust your health to this woman. There are so many better doctors out there that will treat you with compassion and respect!

Always felt that she rushed me through the office visit. Made having a hysterectomy sound like a piece of cake, then when I had major sleeping problems pushed anti-depressants on me, telling me I'd become agoraphobic if I didn't take them. Pushed me to go to work after 2 weeks after the surgery even though I was feeling horrible. Repeatedly told me that she had not touched my ovaries even though I was having multiple problems. It took a new doctor to discover that my ovaries had shut down after the surgery, and to get me on estrogen, before I even started feeling better. This is after the anti-depressants she pushed on me made me even sicker. I will never go back to Dr Morton or recommend her.

Probably the rudest dr I have ever encountered. Unhelpful, rushed, uncaring. I should have switched long ago but after the birth of my child I decided enough is enough.

Rushed, rude, and frenzied. I went to Dr. Morton needing to get back on a medicine I had taken 4 times before to get pregnant. Dr. Morton took no time getting to know my history and made assumptions regarding a plan for treatment without any true knowledge of me. I tried to explain myself but had to interrupt her several times to get a word in. She never asked me any questions or took time to listen--in fact, she would not make eye contact and looked at her watch often). The 2 hours I spent waiting to see her (for 15 minutes) was a total waste of my time and I had to practically beg her to treat me for my condition. I felt like she did not believe me and my over 10 year history of needing something to help me ovulate. I left with nothing, and now I have to find another doctor who can hopefully help me.
