It would be one thing if treatment started and finished with Dr Mason, unfortunately there's contact with his front desk. I've never experienced such disregard from office staff, especially from a psychiatric office. My expectations are not unreasonable, they should be in any job description. Answer the phone, return calls, communicate changes, follow through, confidence that messages are accurate. Those things would not come out of my mouth in giving a description of this front desk staff. For all the positive things I can say about Dr Mason, there's an equal amount of negatives toward his staff. After 2 years, putting up with his staff isn't a good trade off anymore. I suggest finding an office that has proper staff, they 100% add or take away from your treatment

I made an appointment 4 months in advance. On the day of the appointment, I went in and was told my appointment was cancelled. I asked why and it was because they could not get a hold of me. They had the incorrect phone number which made no sense since they had to call me to set up the appointment since no one answers the phone at his office. Do not go to this office since office staff is incompetent and a MD should make his staff a reflection of himself. Huge waste of time when I could have made an appointment with another MD and not had to deal with the dyslexic staff that can not use the phone correctly. I have had the same phone# for 15yrs. I am positive it was not me that gave the incorrect # and besides THEY CALLED ME to set up the appointment in the 1st place!

Dr. Mason is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He does not seem to really care about me as a patient, and hurries thru each appointment. The staff also comes across as rude and not helpful. There have been times when I've called needing immediate help only to receive a phone call days later asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment a few weeks away. Beware of this doctor/practice.

I feel that Dr. Howard's staff are rude and unhelpful. Example: I called three times in one week for a prescription when I was in great distress, with no return phone calls. Only on the 3rd call was I told he was out of town. When I asked to speak to his back up, I was literally told that "No one" could help me. I asked why I wasn't told that Dr. Mason was out of town when I called orig. 5 days earlier and there was no apology, no excuse, nothing. I left a message to speak with him about the issue of no return phone calls and no notification that he was out of town and he never called back. I felt he should know. I called again, and was told that he would not return my phone call unless it was an emergency. I would NOT recommend Dr. Mason in large part because I feel his staff is uncaring and incompetent.
