Well, I had a very different experience. To begin, Dr. Friedman's staff is terrible. Prior to a surgical, I underwent an MRI. I was never given the results. I called Dr. Freidman's office with no results. I experienced great discomfort in my ear. Again, I left a message for Dr. Friedman's nurse - no call. Had surgery but no pre-op visit. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Frriedman's assistant (MD), had to be corrected as he was about to mark the wrong side of my hrad. After surgery, I was given no information about post care. Dr. Freidman never bothered to talk to my family in the lobby. I was handed several prescriptions and wheeled out of the recovery room. I then had to go to CVS and wait 45 minutes for my medication. I has post operative complications and called Dr. Friedman's office. I had one return voicemail, I called twice more with medical concerns. No calls. My best medical resource has been Dr. Google i.e. the Internet. I no longer trust Dr. Freidman's office with my health.

Last year, when I was 19 years old, Dr. Friedman removed my acoustic neuroma. He is such a great doctor. I came to Los Angeles all the way from Texas because he is so well known. All throughout the process, I never had one worry or doubt. My dad is also a doctor and should have made me more worried. Dr. Friedman reassured me the whole time, and came in to check on me everyday in the hospital. When I was released, I formed a blood clot in my brain the next day. I did not know what was going on, but was staying at the hotel connected to the hospital. We called Dr. Friedman in the middle of his office hours and he immediately dropped everything to care for me and get me admitted back into the hospital. He is great!

Helpful and knowledgeable. Very friendly, very accommodating. I was concerned about being uninsured and he did everything he could to make sure the cost of seeing him was not too high. He made me feel at ease and truly seemed to care about getting me better.
