Dr Martino was a disappointment to me. He may be an excellent surgeon but his bedside manner is severely lacking. He never called me with important cat scan or pet scan results. I had to call him. It was 8 days after the scan was done. He was short and hesitant to answer important questions. He does not like to be challenged. His videos sold me but I then found out they were deceiving. I was dealing with cancer not a cold, have good health insurance and he should have taken the time to explain in detail my test results. I since have switched doctors.

Congratulations for finding Dr. Martino, F.A.C.O.G.! He is a Board Certified Ob/Gyn & Board Certified Oncologist & Head of Robotics at Lehigh Valley Hospital. His team is one of only 15 around the world that set the standards for Robotic Surgery. He is Board Certified in Florida, NJ, & PA. Three weeks ago he removed 3 cysts from inside my 22 year old daughter's ovaries. Her right ovary had a dermoid & functional cysts over 5 inches and her left had a dermoid approx 2-3 inches! He saved both her ovaries with 3 incisions just below the bikini line. He operated approx. 3 hours using the DiVinci Robot. She is back at work, the gym & feels great! Dr. Martino is kind, patient & really cares. His team is also wonderful. At every moment the morning of surgery, as an out patient, everyone at Lehigh Valley Muhlenberg was totally devoted to my daughter's needs. Prepping her for surgery they remained kind while calming all her questions & fears. It was extremely possible my daughter could have lost her right ovary & I truly believe another surgeon may have removed it because of the size and the time involved in removing it. I am so thankful I found this wonderful doctor! I researched relentlessly for over a month before I discovered him. We had previously seen a surgeon recommended by my daughter's ob/gyn and I knew he was not the right surgeon (the diagram he drew showed he would have put 4 incisions in an arc well above her bellybutton, he also declined to review her MRI disk during our consultation & there were a few other concerns that set off alarms). After reviewing Dr. Martino's qualifications and watching his online videos I felt I finally found the right doc. The day we met Dr. Martino we knew we did. We scheduled the surgery that day. So thankful!!! We will continue with him as my daughter's Ob/Gyn even though we live 2 hours away from his office. He is definitely worth the trip!

I would recommend Dr. Martino to anyone looking for a caring, professional, amazing doctor. I go to him every three months and drive 2 hours each time to do so. I trust his opinion 100% on any questions I have. He cured me of ovarian cancer and I owe everything to him. The entire staff at Lehigh is great!

I was impressed by Dr. Martino's friendliness, professionalism and experience. He is very easy to talk to and answered all questions completely. He is respected and highly recommended by my local gynecologist. The robotic hysterectomy was a blessing to me. I had no real pain, only some minor soreness/discomfort. I did not need or use RX narcotic pain meds. The experience was so much easier than that of friends who had old fashioned open surgery.

Dr. Martin Martino by far is what every Doctor should be, he was out of the many doctors that I have seen in 50 years probably the most kind and caring Doctor that I have been seen by.Before and after you go in for the operation he explains everything in detail. In terms that a normal person can understand. If your looking for a Doctor that will take of all of your needs, you need not to look any further.I wish that he also could be my only Doctor for all my needs oh well you cannot have everything.I drove over a hour to be treated by him and it was worth the drive. His bed manners are outstanding, he eases your mind and you feel like a family member is taking care of you. You owe it to yourself to reach out to him to be treated. Carole Micatovich

I have NEVER met a more WONDERFUL human being! Dr. Martino goes ABOVE and BEYOND duty, calling to follow-up to see how things are going---many times he called around 9:30pm, obviously after a long day of surgeries/patients, etc....Dr. Martino is quick to repond to e-mails as well. Being diagnosed at age 33 with ovarian cancer was pretty overwhelming, but his approach made everything bearable! No other doctor gave me hope, courage & strength. Dr. Martino sat me down and told me he would treat me as if I were his own sister---that meant SO MUCH to me! He is a wonderful person!
