I found this doc through my insurance. Both the doctor and staff are very helpful. The doctor answered all of my questions patiently. I'm glad I found this doc.

First and last visit there.
Rushed , unproffedional, rude.
Told me I may have serious condition and wanted to treat with medications right away.
Didn’t care or ask questions about mine health history or anything.
Also new glasses I got from her are way too strong.
Went for second opinion somewhere else.
No problems with my eyes, got new prescription for my glasses.
NEVER COMING BACK THERE.
SEEMS SHE IS THERE FOR THE MONEY

I recently had an eye emergency. In spite of busy schedule, the doctor agreed to see me on the same day after listening to my concerns over the phone. She treated me to relieve the symptoms as well as got me a specialist appointment for the following day to further investigate and fix my eye condition. I don't usually write online reviews but after reading some of the reviews here, I felt that I should let everyone know my experience with Dr. Ramamurthy. She is a great doc and her staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great place and very knowledgeable doc!I was seen on time and never felt rushed. The doc took time to explain the results of every test. She had great recommendations for my eye health. I recommended her to my husband who is very picky in choosing his doctors and he liked her as well and we both moved our records to this office right away. I'm glad I found a great eye doctor close to my home!

Worst doctor I have ever seen. She is arrogant, didn't take the time to talk to me and seemed rushed. i would never recommend her to anyone !

I was looking for an Optometrist because I recently moved to Connecticut and one of my neighbors recommended Dr. Ramamurthy's office. I recently had an eye exam and I'm very pleased with their service. The Doc is well informed as one other post suggested. They have lot of latest high tech machines to diagnose eye conditions. During our casual conversation, I mentioned my daughter is having trouble reading books and she took time to perform full eye exam for my 6 year old without insisting for an appointment, diagnosed her eye condition and recommended treatment. My husband and I have different insurance, but their office accepts almost all insurances so it's convenient for both of us to go to the same doc.

Went to check my vision checked. When we got the appointment we were told that the insurance is accepted. But after went I was told that the insurance that I have will not cover the glasses if purchased with them. So she gave a prescription but she did not fill up all the details. When I called to get it filled correctly I was told that I have to pay again for the visit. The Staff are not courteous at all. Would never recommend them to any of my friends.

Saw Dr. R at Cohen's in west farms mall. I feel she answered all the questions I had. did a thorough eye exam. Her prices compared to the usual doctor I go to are more reasonable.
