Was many years ago when I initially got my wisdoms out, he and his staff were great the whole time. I was having problems with my wisdoms and then he took them out and had zero issues or pain after. Was totally fine after the freezing wore off. And a few years later was referred back to him when I had another issue in my mouth. He decided it was better just to leave it, but would highly recommend him to anyone. He made the removal of my wisdoms so quick and painless.

Recently had two wisdom teeth extracted and was extremely nervous for the procedure/anesthetic. Dr. Whitestone was very kind, reassuring and accommodating, due to building complications (not the fault of the office) my procedure had to be rescheduled which wasn't settling for myself but the staff and Dr. Whitestone came in early to fit me in within the next few days and were wonderful in accommodating me with the situation that arises. I would highly recommend Dr. Whitestone and the staff to anyone who is feeling anxious about oral surgery!

Dr.Whitestone and his staff are fantastic...highly recommend him. He is kind and caring and makes you feel completely secure. Had complications (through no fault of Dr. Whitestone) and he couldn't have taken better care of me. I have also sent all my children to him for wisdom tooth extraction. They nurses and office staff are also the best I have ever encountered.

Thank you Whitestone for a pleasant commemorable surgery experience. I had 3 impacted wisdom teeth removed using general anesthesia. I had the consulation the same day as the surgery. I literally had lost all my worries as soon as the consulation had finished. I HAD severe anesthesia anxiety going into the surgery and was literally crying/depressed one month prior to knowing I would have to get surgery. One thing to prepare for is as soon as a nurse comes to get you for surgery you will be immedatiely knocked you moments after. If this is your first time getting general do not worry as you will get knocked out within 15 seconds of breathing in the gas they give you. After they knock you out they will give you intravenous sedation through an Iv followed by local anesthetic injections. When you wake up you won't feel any pain and will feel like you woke up from a deep deep sleep. You will NOT act like people you see on youtube. My surgery took around 35 minutes.

After a terrifying initial consultation with a Dr. Wakeham, I asked my orthodontist for a referral and he recommended Dr. Whitestone. Went all the way across town for a consultation, signed a very non-threatening waver, and had four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Whitestone in May 2007. Dr. Whitestone was EXTREMELY friendly and knowledgeable -- a real consummate professional and gentleman. He checked in on me after the surgery and was helpful throughout. I wish I could recall the name of the nurse who looked after me in the recovery room -- she chatted with me the entire time (even though I had wads of gauze in my cheeks) and was so friendly that she even went to the trouble of cleaning my glasses for me! (I almost always wear contacts to I tent to not take the best care of my glasses...) Had absolutely no complications and recovered very quickly from the procedure. If I have children who need to have their wisdom teeth removed, Dr. Whitestone will be the first person on my list to call.

I was terrified at the thought of going in for any type of surgery, and Dr. Whitestone and his staff made me feel quite comfortable. I am not from Calgary, and the staff worked hard to ensure the drive home after surgery was as comfortable as they could make it. The waiting time prior to surgery felt like it was a long time, but afterwards I was told it wasn't long at all and I only felt like it took forever because I was nervous. Dr. Whitestone was very friendly towards me and my family, and I am very pleased with the results of my Wisdom Teeth removal. I wouldn't have wanted any other surgeon. My experience with him was enjoyable and if I need to come back again, I hope Dr Whitestone is my surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone undergoing a maxillofacial surgery at any point in their life. My thanks and appreciation to Dr. Whitestone and his staff. I hope he has a successful practice and continues doing what he does for many more years. I would take my children to him in the future
