I think Dr. Li is a good dentist. Fortunately I have rarely have issues with my teeth and generally go to the office for cleanings only. When I went for my last cleaning most of the staff had changed. I have seen him treat his staff poorly over the years and I assume that they finally had enough of it. The new staff members are rude and give the impression that they really don't care. The friendly and professional feeling is gone. I had the shortest appointment ever and my teeth did not feel clean at the end but I was charged the same price as usual. I will probably keep Dr. Li as my dentist but am going to try the clinic in Virgil for my cleanings.

We had just moved to NOTL from Markham and my wife lost a crown. Michael was recommended to us and the office was just down the street. A couple of days later, a portion of one of my bicuspids broke. It had a huge filling from 30 or 40 years ago and the very thin shell on one side of the tooth broke off. I did not treat it as an emergency - just something to get checked ASAP. Michael was able to see me within a couple of days. He did an amazing job - he determined the old filling was still sound and took the time (a full hour) to use the filling as a foundation to rebuild the tooth. It's now better than it's ever been. I have always been reluctant to visit the dentist but Michael was very calm, very communicative....and although he used a lot of tools from his toolkit, I really did not feel any discomfort. Quite frankly, I was nothing short of amazed at how well everything turned out. To top it off, I was used to paying "Toronto prices" for dental care - so I found the bill to be pleasantly reasonable. In summary, my wife and I have found ourselves a very good dentist. Thanks Michael.

I went in to see Dr. Li about a tooth that was severely sensitive to cold. It turned out to be a deep cavity and told me I may need to get a root canal and get it pulled. As I arrived for my appointment very nervous, he told me I that he would be trying out a temporary filling to see I that could fix the problem. As he was working on my tooth her was extremely rude to his hygienists and hit a nerve in my tooth. His response was 'oh the freezing must be coming out' as he carried on. After I was finished he told me he's 90% sure I would need a root canal or to get it pulled. I told him right from the start I did not want a root canal as I am fearful I tooth pain and could not afford the 1200 dollar charge. He told me he could not pull the tooth in his office as it was now hollow and could shatter. He prept my tooth for a root canal is what he did and basically tried to corner me without any other options to getting a root canal. I'm left with an infected tooth and a lot of pain. He has lost myself and my family as patients. Do not go here, he's not compassionate and only is conserned with making a buck. Awful experience.

Within the past year I visited Dr. Li as a new patient. I have never been comfortable in the dental office. I found Dr. Li to be gentle and very professional. I was impressed by his quiet confidence and by his knowledge and skill. Several months after my initial visit, I had a dental emergency. I was seen immediately and given excellent care. I know that Dr. Li and his assistant worked through their lunch in order to see me promptly and to provide the treatment that I needed. I did not feel as though they were rushing or that I had caused any inconvenience. I was extremely pleased with the quality of care and with the manner in which it was provided. After meeting Dr. Li, I no longer dread going to the dentist!

Dr. Michael Li is a gentle, knowledgeable and caring practitioner. My wife call him "**** Soft-paws" (from Puss in Boots) because of his delicate hands and handling.

The office staff is friendly. Cleanings are done well. However, I highly recommend finding another dentist for anything more than a cleaning. I was not pleased with Dr. Li's expertise or lack thereof.

Dr. Li is very thorough, had new filling put in and he spent a lot of time making sure my bite was correct. Allows time for emergency repairs. Friendly and helpful staff.
